my truck! the damn optima gel cell's suck! i have had issues with it since new, it finally started taking a shit last week, i charged it up, and it worked for a few days. saturday morning i had to go see my girl marbles at the shop and the truck was really really slow starting, but finally it started, then yesterday morning i get in the truck to warm it up for work and *click*, i hooked the charger up but the battery was shorted, it wouldnt charge.

so i get a new battery yesterday, hook it up and *click* lol, so i check some wiring and all, call my good friend who rebuilds starters and alternators, he has me do some checks, and we determine that i burned up the starter letting it crank for a few minutes when the battery was half dead. so i go to tear it out ( i only had channel locks at my house as a tool) couldnt get it out, he finally came to my house at 8pm last night with tools and a nice rebuilt starter and we swapped it out, went to start it and *click* lol. we found a bad start wire that goes from the starter relay to the starter. FMLL!!!!

Gosh I guess an ohm light would have come in handy?

haha yea it was a good time bro! if you stayed til all the installs were done we had some beers lol, but the roads all around the shop flooded so it took me 1.5hrs to drive home that usually takes me 10minutes lol. and i had to drive

haha a 13mm socket and ratchet would have come in REAL handy lol. i have zero tools at my house except a hammer, and screwdrivers lol
