I think I'm actually dying. And of course, payroll is due today so I actually have to use my brain. I might just say screw it and do that 35 million line journal entry on Monday. Because imminent death.

One of my closest friends took your apparent path many years ago. Didn't know how to drive stick and decided to buy a stick M3 (pretty new too) to learn.

No word of a lie, there was so much space / time in between gear selections as he struggled to find the right gear.

Didn't help either that I was in the back seat yelling "duck, duck, duck (and then when he finally found the right gear), goose". I'm an excellent friend. We are still super close in spite of me. Though he has his fair share of idiosyncrasies too.

I don't mind the protesting, it does help create some awareness to a degree.

What I do mind, is people flooding others with their own political standing as the correct one, instead of remembering the fact the US is so great is that you can have contending ideas and BOTH are correct. Bashing on the other side is ignorant, and it's another realization why I can't stand the general public, let alone the snowflakes of my generation.

Duck duck goose is HILARIOUS. I "could" drive stick beforehand, I just had pretty minimal practice, especially in scenarios with a lot of traffic/people/hills. Getting started from a stop without bucking (my coworker now calls my car O.J., because bucking = bronco = Ford Bronco = O.J. Simpson, naturally) was the real learning curve.
