So i can’t find anybody that will do vinyl work for under $300. Evs can only get the Matte black in 3M and its $300 or the special Germany vinyl for $350 in carbon. I’m thinking about attempting this DIY but not 100% sure lol O and the shadow line was $150 everywhere i asked.

Haha tanks man! I tried to do the vinyl for my shadowline back then and I screwed it up

Hope you have better luck than I did lol.

Ironic because I did the shadowline and it took HOURS and was a total bitch, where I'd think the roof would just be a flat sheet you could diy.

I’m actually thinking about painting the roof now!! I went to Pro-Edge Auto&Paint to get my Engine Cover painted and he told me he could paint the roof for $400. And he does a lifetime warranty on all his work.

So for my Mercedes i went to Chameleon Wraps and they charged me around $225 for material and installation. They do wraps for companies that want to advertise on cars so they do this stuff all the time, just not necesarrily for us mod fanatics. The only thing i didnt like was the material was kind of thick and had a honeycomb texture to it (that u could only see really close up). I'm sure if u take your own material they would give u a great price.

The only problem i have with painting is that if in the end you dont like it or want to take it off (trade in / sell / whatever) you wont be able to you just gota repaint. With vinyl you peel it off and bam! done!

Wow that's a good price and they are 10 minutes from me!! Was it gloss black? O and does any one know how to remove the Engine Cover on the LCI E90

on the pre-lci its just a few allen screws that you take off. you might have to take off the cowl to get to the back screws.

Riiiiight Vig! HA!

Can any of you guys try this:
Push your headlamp switch inward... I think I knocked mine into the dash (not sure if it should do that), but the knob goes in just til its inside the dash and then it stops. I can pull the knob back out and it seems to function properly... I didnt notice it sliding inward until today.
