Beige interior with aluminum and black!!

Since I have never purchased a new BMW I haven´t been able to pick up a combination chosen by me, but I don´t complain, always rely on the choices by the former owner, in this post I haven´t seen a combination that I don´t like in BMW interiors...here is mine, beige with aluminum trim and black top part. Completed it with the black original rubber mats, I tested the beige ones and it looked kind of strange (a lot of beige...), I think the black mats look well, kind of a black-silver-beige-black sandwich. IMHO, the best combinations you can make are the opposite to your car´s color: a dark interior if the paint is light, and a light interior if the exterior is dark.

Actually that is a good idea---a part of this site where people offer the trim they would like to change, and other people offer changing theirs, I am imagining my beige-aluminum being for example beige-anthracite...that would be a nice idea, a trade depo on E90post...take yours out and send it neatly packed, receive the traders´ on the way back and install...easy and nice!

Question for you guys. I am in the market for a 3 series. Why are some center arm rest two piece and adjustable, like in the pictures above, while others are one piece. I prefer the two piece but the specific 3 series I am looking at, and all others I have looked at, are one piece. Can I replace the one piece arm rest with a two piece, and if so, does anyone know how much this will cost. Thanks.

BUMP!!

M dead pedal and shorter sport shift knob/boot installed. Oh, and the LCI cupholder face plates.
Radio knobs are on order.

Up next, probably the M steering wheel, split terra armrest, and a replacement for the wood trim perhaps

My driver seat needs leatherique treatment badly. Especially when compared to the brand new split armrest!
