Hey guys,
I have an MHD flash and had my charge tube replaced because it was cracked. The smog shop here in Livermore said it had to be CARB certified, even though I told him it didn't. Not sure if true or not

Can anyone recommend a smog shop that will "look the other way" and just smog my car?

Anyone know of a good window tinting place that has dealt with the issues of tinting E90s? And if any of those shops has solved the issue of the tint being scratched?

I've heard good things about Alphawerks and the guy owns an e92. He also does car wrapping.

Silicon Valley Bimmer in Santa Clara is amazing.

Great labor rates
Honest (overly honest IMO lol)
Great prices for track alignment / prep
~20yrs of combined experience between the 2 owners

Let them know Spencer sent you and they'll hook you up.

Seems like its still going, check out a shop in fremont called BimmerOnly A1 repairs, prices are unbeatable, ans overly honest haha

Not up to date, but if they're still around 8 years later that's generally a good sign. Just ask what you need and where, and people can post recommendations.

Has anyone done any work with N54 Exclusive Garage located in the bay area? Seems like its a couple guys servicing out of their garage. Their yelp page has perfect reviews, but there aren't many. Planning on some major maintenance work: Oil Pan Gasket, VCG, coding, idle surge diagnostics.

I have not yet. I plan to do my upgrades through them. Their pricing is fantastic and they really know the N54 platform.

Let me know how the work ends up. I've been trying to schedule something with them, but they seem pretty busy. Haven't been able to get a call back.

If you're in East Contra Costa, I'd recommend Tim Helms who owns Dent King has done excellent work on several of my cars, including my BMW and MB.
