Wow, now the paranoia is infecting the E92 bumper thread


I've been watching the E90 thread & agree that they have definite concerns about their delivery - the reason why is purely speculation at this point

But the E92 version was not supposed to be out till sometime in January, so they are not late as of yet.

All (3) of the guys from MME are still active on the forum, TaranJ posted in his FS threads on 12/13, & in a PM to me regarding some items he has for sale, that he is out of the country till Jan 5th - and would get in touch with me earlier if he finds WiFi

And Joe has NOT removed his MME Banner, or anything else regarding MME from his posts.

His latest post was today at 2:34AM:

Now why he hasn't replied to the E90 thread, I don't know - but it's not as if he's hiding (hiding in plain site) or has dropped off the face of the earth, that would leave one to believe that something underhanded is going on...


As for their website being down, I personally have gone to their site many times all thru the start of the E90 GB till now, & the site was NEVER working - so it's not a new thing. At one point Taran stated to me that they were getting the site worked on.


Good idea to keep a careful watch on the E90 going's on, but see no reason to get whipped up into a frenzy over here quite yet - and I have my $$ put down just like the rest of you

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. I've been optimistic for a while.

But two weeks of no responses is just not acceptable given what's happened in the E90 thread.

I've stated in a PM and email that Andrey has a day to get in touch with me before I submit a dispute.

I'm definitely not defending MME over anything that's going on in the E90 thread - just trying to still be the voice of reason over here before the pitchforks & torches come out

I may need to cancel my order at any rate (not based on any of the current problems) - had my 328 in for service earlier this week and a certain CPO M6 caught my eye that is almost too good a deal to pass up. Even my wife said go for it - then she can use that for my Christmas present from her & she's off the hook

Even though I will have to pay for it

Well, I guess we would BOTH be paying for it, as both our salaries go in to the same joint account...

Uh oh. I did some googling. The modmyeuro.com website is registered to a guy whose name pops up as being a scammer in selling a bumper case three years ago. There is a thread on him 13 pages long in another forum! I haven't read it all yet.

Well, they have a M6 vert with the 5.0L V10 & another M6 vert with 4.8L V8

Both are nice, I'm leaning toward the V10, but of course it's 'slightly' more greenbacks

It looks like the dispute is supposed to establish communication with MME to resolve it between buyer and seller. If that doesn't happen we need to file a claim with paypal in the next 20 days or so and they will then try to handle it.

I guess we need to wait 7 days and after that ( before 20 days) they can try to handle our case. I took some screen shots of where MME said if we want our money back to just ask and they would resolve no questions asked.

Yeah I'm in India. As the locals know my car was in service for two weeks with issues so I was fed up with it. The dealer let me remove all of my aftermarket parts I had laid there from home to stock. I did try to install the 1M but the SA came out and told me to put my M3 front back on before I could I posted up what I could on the E90 side. But no car equals no partial sponsorship on my end for the E90. But I'm still trying my best on this end to make this happen with MME since it was my idea to bring a PP front end.

I can tell you Andrey is getting married as that's what he told me and Joe a few weeks back. For the scam part no matter what I will say if I can get wifi in rural India to post something for you all I know he has to have access as it took me two and a half full minutes for this to load up. So I know he's seeing all of this. I've also texted him to check up on his forums for you all over iMessage and it does say delivered so I'm assuming he's read my message.

Man I think I may be in the same boat on filing a dispute. As much as I want this bumper, things are not sitting well with me anymore. Not only that, I have over $1000 just floating around with no product in my hand which I could use for other bills at the moment. It's Christmas time after all?

Just like most of us I'm just speculating here, but does anyone have a feeling that they are keeping us on the line in order to get past the 45 day mark just to disappear?
