Anyone wanting to test, just opt in here

I honestly didn't have the time to test myself (need a new lambda sensor). The "stock" aggressiveness setting is probably useless to most people for go for soft at least.

EDIT: NVM it was ".4 seconds" so start with 2-3 or whatever you want! ha

Also, MHD mentioned in another thread the the stock 'is' models use 4 seconds for their setting. So it might be a good idea to start with 3-4 seconds and medium or soft (not stock) and go from there.

No between 1 and 2 sec on IS cars. But the biggest difference will come from switching the aggressiveness from stock to soft or more.

3 seconds sounds like an eternity to me. I'm on medium. Wasn't very happy with that setting, especially in light traffic when you are constantly on and off the pedal.

I'll be trying 2 seconds/most aggressive, but I have a feeling I'll settle on 2/medium

My bad, I read .4 as 4 in the other thread.

Yea, my bad .4 seconds is 'is' stock, so I'm liking 2 seconds as well.

Yea, soft was great, but I've bumped up to medium and enjoy it.

The most aggressive setting past 4k rpm sounds like gunshots. Good lord. Not sure how my cats feel about that...

Gave it a shot (medium with 2s of duration) on my bone stock 2009. I swear, I couldn't hear any difference at all. Any chance I'm doing something wrong (still have all four cats)?

So with my bone stock e90 exhaust on the most aggressive setting and 4 seconds the sound is very noticeable but definitely is alot more muffled than the pops and bangs I've heard in some videos.

So that means my coupe will be slightly louder since I have an x pipe and the e90 don't?

Yeah there's a fine line between "that car sounds cool" and "that car sounds broken"

Yeah I am e91 same exhaust as e90 with catless downpipes. I was using medium 3secs, its there and the right volume but muffled .Its not popping and crackling like I have had on some maps
