If Payton gets the HC position, and Quinn leaves, I believe Zimmerman gets a shot. He and Payton were both with the Cowboys from 2003 -2005. Payton as Asst. Coach and Zimmer as Defensive Coordinator.

what a weekend of football. Caught the end of Miami comeback and saw Jet highlights, some crazy stuff that's great for the NFL. Felt bad for San Diego, once Herbert gets healthy they are going to be dangerous. I think it will be them and Buffalo in AFC championship game which will likely be better then the Super Bowl.

As for my Giants, they simply have one of the least talented rosters in football and have still won 2 games to start. I love the new coach and the I hope the new GM gets it right but he looks the part. It will take a few years to ramp up but we will be back under the cap after next year by a lot and hopefully drafting well. GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was it more about the Eagles being really good last night, or the Vikings having a crap game plan and sucking? Probably both. Was painful to watch as a Vikes fan as we had some chances to make a comeback with the blocked field goal and interception in the 2nd half. Then Cousins decides that Slay is his number 1 wideout.

A little bit of Minn sucking and a lot of Hurts dominating. In the infancy of the NFL season, Hurts is 3rd in MVP voting behind Josh Allen and Mahomes.

there were definitely moments in the game where the momentum could have shifted (the smith jr drop is #1, the Slay interception at the goal line is #2, the awesome Siposs tackle on the field goal is #3) but honestly even with that lack of execution the game had the feeling the Eagles were in the driver seat all night. If one or two of those plays went in the Vikings favor it felt like the Eagles would have answered right back. It was one of the more comfortable games I've ever been to from a fan perspective.

The acquisition of Brown in the off season combined with a strong work ethic is a page taken right out of the Bills (Allen/Diggs) playbook. While there is 15 more regular season games to go if the Bills and Eagles stay healthy I would expect both to go deep in the playoffs. But then again as kid who goes back to day one with the Bills(1960) I know all too well of the word 'frustration' !

Haha!!! I love me some Mike. Actually see him regularly at dining and hang out spots. Can't call him a friend per se, but we definitely know each other and it goes waaaaaay back to the 90s holden era.
Dude continues to be a huge spokesperson for his former team.

As another life-long Bills fan, we both already know that this will be the next Buffalo Superbowl matchup...as well as the outcome ahead of time.

(For everyone else, the Bills have played and lost Superbowls to every other team in the NFC LEast...except the Eagles.)

I wonder if anyone can make a decent beef on weck in Glendale for the big game?????

Yes Sir!! Love how he doesn't buy into Stephen A's side of things / BS!! Always defends his Cowboys!

LOL, 'if' the Bills make it to the Super Bowl I won't watch it, rather I'll go to the movies instead. At least I have fond memories of our AFL Championships of '64 & '65, Kemp, Gilcrest, Dubenion, Bass, Gogolak and the list goes on.......

Parsons had one of the highest pass rush win rates last season (3rd), and this season, he is leading all others in the category by over 10%. No reason to think he wont be able to keep it up, even against better OLines.

And for what its worth, vs the Bucs, he got one of his sacks on Donovan Smith and won over 70% of his pass rush attempts vs Smith. Smith was the #3 OT last season and gave up 1 sack last season.

No question about Parsons.....but it takes more than one guy to have a great pass rush. Double team, chipping etc if not worried about anyone else. Lets just see how things develop....its only week 2.

We’ll find out if this Giants team is a mirage or the real deal these next few weeks. The game at London against the Packers will be interesting. However, Kenny Golladay needs to pack his crap and leave.

Eagles definitely look good. They have to be the favorites in the NFC East.
