Yes, as long as you have been a member in good standing for at least 12 months prior to your delivery.

Let me know if anyone needs info on places to see or do. I have all the research I did for my 10/07 ED saved in Excel and Word.

Just throwing it out there.

Just plug in the current pricing in the appropriate fields and you're good to go....that's what I did.

on Irv Robinson's site it says to start the process 3 months before you want to do ED...is this true? I'm toying with the idea of ED, but just can't wait till Nov for ED with re-delivery close to the new year. Why couldn't I order now and do ED in 4-6 weeks??

Sometimes 8 weeks is plausible. Sometimes you can do it faster. It depends on what they have open. Your best bet is to contact Irv and see what he can do for you.

If it's in stock in the Munich warehouse and they will sell it to you, it's possible. If it needs to be built, then it depends on what build slot is available. Mines being built 21-25 Sep and I'm to pick it up @ the dealer 3-5 Oct. They allow one week for transport.

For those stationed here, it costs $400 to pick it up in Munich, but then we don't have to pay the $200 delivery fee. I'm getting my second in as many years and still haven't picked one up in Munich, although both have been a European Delivery.

I understand if you miss your appt for whatever reason, your screwed.

You need to talk to your SA and he can check if some one cancel or something else happen and they have extra - but this mean - what evr option this car has and color - that what you get. If you wish to choose your color and add options that you liked - then it's take 2.5-3 month from day you order.

My website needs some updating.....I've gotten orders done in as little as 3 weeks from start to finish. If we place an order tomorrow for the specific p/u dates in October,we should have a date confirmation along with the production number within 2-3 days....October is a beautiful time to go,the fall colors are at their best around mid to late October...

I am thinking of doing ED next summer (after the E92 LCI refresh) and was wondering what people usually do while the car is in transit. My CA said I have to turn in my current BMW (trade in) when I sign the final paperwork, which means I will be without a car about a month before ED and about a month after ED. Do all ED'ers have a second car? Do you drive a beater until the car arrives?

What I read here and on Bimmerfest you can extend your lease for 2 more month.
If this is not a lease - try find a chipo rent-a-car or see if one of your friends can borrow his/her car to you.
Good luck!

My current BMW is not a lease and is approaching the 50k mile mark rapidly (49.7k as of today ) and I am not comfortable with driving it past 50k miles (it's not a CPO). Anyone know a site for cheap rental cars?

If you can find a beater for under 3K , you can usually sell it for a similar price a few months later.Look for FSBO cars ( for sale by owner ) in residential neighborhoods. If you can buy it right, you might even be able to break even a few months later.

You can go for as little time as your want, but...
You may keep your car in Europe up to 5 months after delivery (there is a 19% penalty tax if your car is not exported within the 6-month period). Cars financed through BMW Financial Services must be exported within 90 days. Cars leased through BMW Financial Services must be exported within 30 days.

Yes. Just make sure to turn in your paperwork to BMWCCA before their time limit runs out.
