Hahaha! Cool. I am probably way too stuck up to accept anything non-european when it comes to cars. That Lexus probably rides on a Corolla chasis and the C30 rides on the latest Focus chasis. The European Focus chasis, that is. Add a Turbo 5 engine and AWD and the C30 is a fantastic car.

Haha at least you'll admit it...on that note I do sort of have a thing for the C30 as well, but have heard the drive is pretty underwhelming and the GTI is much better

word of warning on the E46, you'd have to get manual tranny. The Automatics are made by GM (no idea wtf BMW was thinking) and they fail across the board.

Yea I'm pretty much only looking for MTs...I've driven the E46 auto its pretty bad. Was only looking for MT buying my 335 but the ZF blew me away

Yea I love my car...point is I'm trying to get something cheaper to buy a place...I could just swing it now but it'd be cutting it pretty close and would take a while to build up a pad to where I wouldn't have to dip into long term savings should an emergency arise...so the easiest option is to try and reduce my car payment

Looking for suggestions:

I'm looking to retrofit PDC on my car while keeping my warranty intact. According to Patrick BMW, I can't retrofit the usual PDC bumper sensors as they might not be able to honor my warranty after. Thus I've opted to go with the license plate PDC sensor here. Patrick BMW quoted me $425 just for labor, doesn't that seem a bit much? Is there any one else I can go to besides doing the installation myself?

P.S. the service manager claims this retrofit need recoding even though the installation manual clearly states it doesn't. Thus I'm a bit wary of the information I've been provided by.

thats a little overpriced for that zhp though... i'd love one too, great cars. I think with 60-75k you should easily be under $15k, especially on an 03 or 04.

that M3 is nice too
