HPV 16/18 caused head and neck cancers. Hopefully you and her are not infected

OMG the $$ you're going to make over the next 20 years (and what you have already)...love it. Are you part of a group? Ours is a practice of 2..was 3 Drs. as a part of a North FL OBGYN group. How does it work with you? Just curious.

My mom is also an obgyn - started over 35 years ago and still works 70-80h a week. She still loves her job and goes to work with a smile.

On the other hand I was really considering med school in high school. My mom did everything in her power to kill the med school idea. She really didn't want me to pursue a medical degree.

Your mom has the same mentality as me of not having our kids go through school regarding medical and I'm a nurse. The work is rewarding but you can probably ask your mom, in the beginning of our careers, we feel and are distanced from our families and meaningful events that we didn't attend or don't remember of. One of those things in life I do regret.

Me too!

Well, not me directly but I was named in a tort along with a bunch of other people. Eventually found to be not at fault but it still sucked.
