Finally got around to sorting the woefull audio system out. Alpine front components and a 12" MB Quart Sub powered by an oldschool Kenwood 8401 and Phoenix Gold 8.0.1. Need to hide the wires but it sounds 1000's of times better.

Finally got around to fitting my rear door cards [ long story ] well actually its not that long, they were
1, filthy and
2, I was looking for a way to swap my privacy blinds over
3, I just couldnt be feckin bothered!

Anyway a couple of weeks ago I finally got around to fitting them but they were even more filthy having spent 12 months in one of the sheds!

Had to get the steam cleaner out as you can see they were proper ropey by this point.

Just need to melt the glue holding the blinds on off of my old door cards now so I can reinstall the blinds on these doors.

what did you do about the PDC holes btw?

Sub is and always has been a good one , cheers. I used our vinyl printer at work to colour code the bumper and made some vinyl blanks, will grab some pics tomorrow and show you mate. They are not 100% as a solution but look the part.

Afraid so mate, flogging a dead horse with this one, test drove a Mini JCW today with a reported 250bhp, omg, took me 30 minutes after the test drive to stop smiling.

Had a bit of an off with a concrete post ( music to loud to hear beeps 🔊🔊🔊 ) which resulted in a bit of a ding on the rear bumper. Whilst the car was off the road I thought may as well respray the front one to.

Jobs you wish you had not started !!!!!!

Alloys having a polished lip look lovely but, what a pain in the ass they are to keep looking good. Mine doing 500 miles a week are probably a bit worse than most.

So started to give them a bit of a clean

As you can see there are quite a few stone chips in the finish

So out with the tools

and products

Pain in the ass job I can tell you and it takes forever but, hopefully be worth it in the end.

Slowly getting there

More hard graft tomorrow
