Doesn't matter on turbocharged cars really. Back pressure is the number one enemy and shaving close to 40lbs is a hell of a benefit.

HEy got this exhaust, X brace had to be removed any suggestion on how to install it or does it really matter? I know it stiffens up rear suspension. I was told washers and longer screws but damn that would be a lot of washers and what would the benefit be then so let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Any sound of the vrsf v2 exhaust with stock DPs?

The price point is really nice, but I have yet to hear it with stock DPs.....

Edit: There are some videos in the thread.

Do you think it will sound any different since you're on single turbo and I'm on stock turbos?
So far I'm getting mixed reviewed from the videos. Sometimes the exhaust notes are kind of quiet and don't sound much louder than the golf-tee mod. But in other videos, the exhaust sounds beastly.

Do you guys think I should get FMIC upgrade (potentially vrsf 7") or this vrsf v2 exhaust? I use my car as a DD and never track.

Any input is welcome!

Any update on this exhaust??? Oct 2014 kids. Interested in doing this. Any drone or sedan channel brace clearance updates??? I had an HKS for a while. This one was the one I wanted back in 2010, but I only saw the AMS, which was 3". 3.5" with flex pipe is perfect. I think VRSF took AMS's design and perfected it. Tiago please hit me back.

Awaiting the final prototype now. No drone, requires a small spacer at the brace and we've fixed a lot of the clearance issues.

Are the revisions to the exhaust discussed in another thread? Do you have an ETA?

The only changes were the removal of the v-bands to make the exhaust more adjustable and to improve clearance along with the entire routing of the piping.

No ETA.

I really enjoy my VRSF however I still want to re-install my V brace.

Is this regarding the free midpipe section that was to be re-done?

The pipe routing changed quite a bit, rather than changing the one pipe we changed the entire system from head to toe so I'm not sure on the specifics yet. Once I have final pricing I'll announce something.

In other words who ever has the current VRSF exhaust, don't expect a revised midpipe (as promised) to fix the low hanging problem?

I've been told for a long time now that those of us who already have the old exhaust, will be getting replacement parts to fix the issue.
