Completely stock no mods and all service records in a folder with window sticker. I plan to pass the car onto my son later in life.

At age 17 I got a used 1985 318i. It had over 100k miles and was $5,000. The car was Diamond Black with tan cloth seats sitting on gold BBS wheels. The car was mint and looked fresh.
Since then all but 2 of the 10 cars I’ve driven have been a BMW 3. 1985 318i, 1987 325, 2000 323 Ci, 2008 328 xi, 2010 328 xDrive, 2013 335 xDrive, 2015 xDrive and 2020 M340 xDrive. I need . Last edited by autobahn75; 05-28-2019 at 11:34 PM.. |

#2. BMW 1M these 1M is my last 'modern' BMW i will own. Don't like where the brand is heading or has been recently since. Would love to get an E30 M3 or 2002 Turbo one day though.

I got my first BMW in 1970. A brand new 2002tii.
The most exciting car to drive I've ever had . I did rallies, slaloms and hill-climbs with it , have beaten the hell out of it and it never let me down. I don't think they make them that tough anymore but I sure enjoy my new to me 2007 Z4m. Last edited by Deniz4; 06-02-2019 at 10:54 PM.. |

Amazing. Well done! Only thing that sucks is how little you've driven it! Otherwise congratulations! Go drive it more! :P

Looks similar to this: Not only my first BMW, but my first car ever. It barely ran, but I loved it. Sadly, it just stopped working after awhile since it was already an old rust bucket when I got it. The steering was something to behold: non-power steering gave me a workout pulling into parking spots, but on the road it felt great! My best memories as a foolish teenager in that car was placing the automatic in neutral, revving to redline, then slamming it into gear to experience the 2 seconds of glorious burnout! It wasn't what I would call fast or quick, however, so that burnout was the only sensation of speed I could muster. Come to think of it, the hooliganism probably led to its eventual demise. Years... and YEARS later I came back to BMW with the F30 328i. A F30 340i replaced that, then a F80 paired with an i3. Then I got a new i3 and a new F80 M3 CS, both of which currently sit my garage. I actually almost got a new i8 last month, but I have put that on hold until I see more news on the M2 CS.

My first BMW is a 2008 535xi. In searching for something more suitable to driving in winter living in the front range mountains of Colorado, I was looking for coupes and sedans that ticked off all the right boxes. My mechanic had two N54s and thus my introduction into the BMW I6 line. A single owner, grandma driven car with 56K miles became a buy on sight and my new daily driver. A few bolt ones and MHD flash later, it’s a sublime touring car.
Wanting to take my summer/fair weather game up a notch, I began shopping for a 135i 6spd and finally found the right car at a great price. I was set on Sedona Red Metallic and a 6spd. While it’s an N55, it will be sufficient for my canyon runs at Stage 2+. Once it’s time for the turbo to go, it will be my excuse to go Pure Stage 2 with an exhaust and methanol injection. I already have a race car when I need the pure adrenaline rush from speed and enjoy the balance from a FBO + tune I can rip in and out of corners. Having been a Jag lover for two decades with various I6 power plants, I fell in love with the Teutonic twins of the N54 and how refined and smooth power delivery is while chewing through an 80mi round trip commute most of the week. |

First BMW I bought was an 01 325ic Silver on black cloth/leather, I bought for my wife as a wedding present the day before we got married.
MY first bmw was an 88 e30M3. black on black(cardinal original but long gone) I had a classmate in the early 90’s who’s dad had one, and when I saw it I was in love. Last edited by ToddBlack88; 10-30-2019 at 01:49 PM.. Reason: Pic added. |

2000 e46 323i Titanium Silver on Black. Got it used in 2002 to replace a 1981 DeLorean I was daily driving in high school. Loved that car. Eventually got another e46 later on.
