I've had mine cracked and replaced twice. Check your insurance to see how much your deductible is. Usually it's far less than your normal one. I had mine replaced at the dealer and then submitted the invoice to get reimbursed minus the $50 deductible for glass.

I got a quote of like 120 to fix. Seems like an awful lot. I need to call insurance and see what they say. I'd like to get it fixed quick so it doesn't start moving more.

As said, most insurance companies will take care of the bill if it's a repair. Mine just sent Safelite to my work and did the repair in the parking lot.

My dad pays $100 each time as a deductible to fix his windshield as he managed to cracked 3 windshields in less than 3 years on his ML350; also had some unidentified object punch a nice hole in the grille while driving on the highway.

Thank god the car was a lease and is now in somebody else's hands.
