that's why the refineries are not expanding or new refineries arn't constructing because no one sees there's real profit....
or more complex oil projects (oil-sand in Canada) to be sensible to kick-off....

I know that the media hype is what drove up oil prices to insane figures, now due to the economy and people not having as much to spend they were forced to lower the prices of oil. I'd say towards the end of the year you'll see oil in the mid $60's again.

i think 60 bucks a barrel is somewhere reasonable....
for me to have a secure job...and regular gas price is 2.30-2.50 a gallon....(this will stop the SUVs drive like a mofo!)....

lol too cheap e90slam it was this price before president bush came in and messed up everything..Still its not cheap enough till im paying 20 dollars for a fillup

When it was 1.xx it was in the early 90's, over ten years ago. Now it's relatively the same price at 2.1x, so if you count inflation prices have not gone up significantly.

Now, when it was $4 a gallon, that was a very steep hike in gas prices.
