Not sure if the new maps are to blame or something else but just wanted to get some input from you guys.
there are many threads about 2A17.

for the missfire is the usual suspects.

I did some reading on the 2A17 and I suspect a coil is to blame for the cylinder 4 misfire. I was just curious if others have had these issues with the new maps.

Ian, I can assure you there HAS to be a difference between something on v400 vs v401...

I have run v401 for almost two weeks now...Previously was on v400 just so you know..And although I have not had any check engine lights or thrown any codes on the new maps...I have noticed a HEAVY decrease in highway mileage per gallon...This is also experienced even during part throttle situations..

I havent noticed the soot on my tips as much as others have..but regardless there is still a big difference in mpg that is unexplainable?

I will be going back to v400 tomorrow and staying with it until a fix or change is made...Please keep us updated bc it doesnt seem like im alone with the issues..Thanks in advance

How up to date are the dynojet numbers with the COBB tune in the Tune Comparison Chart sticky? It looks like JB4 is still offering higher peak numbers, but COBB keeps updating their software so much, and I'm still leaning towards the COBB in principle (I like flashes better than piggybacks).

I just went from stage 1 V301 to V401 Stage 2+ (after installing the supporting mods)and partial throttle cruising is definately eating the gas, about 2-3mpg difference with the cruise set at 80mph.

Unfortunately it is taking longer to do the install of the meth kit due to some tedious fab work having to be done to mount the tank in the trunk as I requested. HOWEVER, the install is being finished as I'm typing this. Believe me, I want to be able to give updates more than you want them lol
Work on the "foundation" of the map will begin this afternoon and dyno tuning will be begin tomorrow morning. Its actually raining at my location now so I'm not too dissapointed because I wouldn't be able to push it anyway.

My new cobb just arrived. I am running bone stock and I am looking for the safest option and I'm not overall concerned about the latest and greatest (beta, etc.) b/c I drive a lot for my job and I'm doing what I can to stay away from the mod bug until I am out of warranty in a couple years. I'm in FL running 93 and after countless hours of thread reading I am thinking v301 is my best option? Stage 1 agressive, sport? I have no plans of FMIC at this point.
