Ok. Thanks.
I'm asking because of error COAPI -2060 have another question. To pic up right coding I set production date #0907 before was #1205. NCS use JBBF70.prg and i think that is for JBBF2. In my car is JBBF (1) so should be JBBF87.prg My headlight washers still don't work. I'd like to code jbbf using expertmode but getting error COAPI-2060, COAPI-2062 Is it possible? - ncs use wrong .prg file to coding because of production date ? Edit. The answer is Yes. Got back to previous date and coded to default jbbf. Headlight washers works now. Last edited by BMPassion; 01-03-2014 at 11:41 AM.. |

Can anyone tell me if there is a special cable that I need for my '11 N55 e92 LCI, every cable i see on amazon ebay and even onestop seems to say that it supports up to model year '08.
If anyone has a link for a cable that they know will work (hopefully for a good amount under $100) please send it to me! |

Woot. Coded the digital speedo and comfort window closing with fob. Also reset adaptations in INPA while I was at it.
If only I had the FRM2 for the welcome lights! Next up is buying the alarm retrofit. Really wish I could code the clown-nose to blink in the meantime. |

Any other suggestions, I see a ton on amazon but they all have mixed reviews, seems like a hit or miss depending on the car. |

It's not a hit or miss depending on the car, it's a hit or miss depending on the cable. I bought one on ebay for $20 and it works perfectly. It's not that your mileage may vary, it's that your mileage will almost certainly vary.

Your saying that any cable "Should" work with my car. It's just that most cables that don't work are shit cables? |

Sadly I don't (original listing long since ended). The problem is that design consistency from cable to cable is nonexistent. All theoretically work for the purpose stated, but whether their individual design plays nice with INPA and friends (which aren't really quality tested themselves, they aren't meant to be used outside of BMW engineering) is anyone's guess.

If I can get my second cable back from my brother, I'll have a know working cable for sale. He now has both my cables (since X-Mas) but if/when I can get it back it's going on sale. It's been modified with a jumper for both new & old BMWs and is known to work with a 2000 E46 and a 2011 E93.
