Spiritual? Usually it's on a Sunday morning for me... but that's after a few too many drinks.

We will be tuning my car on 100 octane next month and we may have just secured a customer to come in for a meth tune with a Coolingmist kit. Stay tuned!

Did some back to back hwy pulls today on S2+ Aggressive, v4.01 maps. Numbers are right where I was expecting them. I certainly see an improvement in part throttle smoothness as well.

Can you use the data log information ie-speed, rpm, and boost to incorporate in video using GoPro? I am doing some track time soon and have always wanted to have graphical display on my videos to show this information.

Has anyone done this?

Just got my own AP And something that i was expecting "unrecognized ROM". I had a feeling that i would have ROM that is not yet supported since i have european 335i. Just have to copy the ROM and send it to Cobb after work ( early monday morning in US time ) and hope they can send me new files asap

I was wondering, how common is it still to come across unrecognized ROMs? How many different roms there could be?

My friend suggested could be the oil burning, check engine oil, and it also could be radiator related. Does the oil check in the system check get messed up when you cobb flash?

After updating from v301 to v401 Beta my Cobb AP doesn't show vacuum anymore in the Live Data. Before it would just fine, but now its stuck on -0.1 or -0.0 until I give it some gas and then it shows boost just fine.

Also, I've gained a few more Live Data variables, whats the "Gear" one show? I thought it might have shown what gear I was in but it doesn't seem to do that.

Is there a list that breaks down what all the live data variables show/mean? There are so many!

EVSome ROM versions show vaccuum, some do not. Mine still shows vaccuum. I think "Gear" logs what gear you're in if you have an auto.

Is it common to get part throttle timing corrections just driving around town normally and logging, is this indication of a problem? I seem to get timing corrections as I ease on and off throttle at times. WOT looks ok though and typically steady throttle is also ok.

Cobb were really really fast adding support for my ROM version. It took only 3h! I am sitting in my car/carage at the moment flashing the DME with accessport

I helped my friend install Cobb on his 2010 E90 M-sport (auto) the other day, and the process went smoothly. After some spirited driving, I noticed the steering is not as stiff as it was before the install. I didn't think Cobb messes with steering wheel setting at all. Can anyone shed some light on this. The best part of the M-sport is stiffer steering wheel, but after Cobb install, It felt like I was driving a Lexus with a lot of power.

Cobb has no affect on the steering wheel that I am aware of

Hmm.

I feel the steering wheel lighter when I turn off my DTC....

Not sure if I just feel it that way or it is true.

The COBB AP reflashes the DME for everything related to the engine -- fuel pump, air-fuel ratio, cooling fan, knock-sensory and boost settings through the rev range (why people usually see a decrease in tq at the top of the rev range, decreases damage on the gears when you're pushing it).

COBB tuning changes none of the settings on the steering, maybe you're just taking off with all the new HP?

You're OK. don't look at timing unless you're going WOT
