Firestone lifetime alignment. $150.
Tell me more of this. What is the cost of this service and legitimacy.

I'm interested.

Do they put 150lbs weight on both front seats before doing alignment? AFAIK without it alignment will be off to begin with. I just checked Firestone today and they had no idea they needed to do this...smh

Gloss black vinyl wrap on the reflectors. Well worth it in my opinion.

Went ahead and spent the extra ~180 above the B4's I had been looking at since BavAuto put the B6 struts on sale.

Now to just get them in and put the car in the air for a couple days and do a suspension refresh.

Nice, look forawrd to hearing your impressions on these. I'm considering them for my e91, too. You consider the Konis, as well?

Did an oil change and added 15mm spacers to the rear wheels. Man I missed changing oil on bmws. Having the filter on top makes a huge difference. Last two years of Audi, I hated doing an oil change and missed my e46 every time.

Also noticed the front strut leaking. Factory suspension going bad at 70k miles, hmm. Trying to decide if I should just replace the shocks and struts or go for koni yellows with eibach springs. Xdrive, daily driver and I take it to mountains almost every weekend so kinda debating if lowering is a good idea.

Not really. Read somewhere the Bilsteins were tuned more for the spring rates on BMWs. I've watched and waited for ~5 months on the struts to come back down after I had gotten a good deal on the rear shocks.

Took her to bmw indy for a diagnosis, my 335 runs great but is smoking pretty bad with a blueish tint when the oil is warmed up. Oil was changed 2000 miles ago and the reading is still on max. Got a quote for replacement of the VCG, OFHG, belts and tensioners. What do you guys think? Also got some parts in the mail too, but I guess they'll have to wait to be put on

Nice score then. At your mileage I'm sure it's going to feel great. Those bilsteins will be great on the highway. Enjoy
