It's 2019, doesn't every one know if you disagree with someone it means you're wrong and just trolling.

You always FAIL to understand what the forum is all about. Doesnt matter how ridiculous it is to YOU. People have had seized engines right after OFHG job. And the rest of us discuss these fails. Thats what a forum is all about.

If you would rather talk about TVs then go to a TV forum.

Why we doing this again? The current conversation wasn't even related to engine failures.

We can go back to talking about interns and Marco's lies if you wish.

Pointing out lies and other ridiculous shit is discussing. What you FAIL to understand is how dumb some of you sound by making shit up and coming up with ridiculous theories.

Dude how are we making these seizures up. We can theorize all we like, it's no lies. Theories are not lies but are not proven by definition, it's just a theory.

If you don't like it just don't follow it that's all. It's easy. You're gonna say official SIB are lies to now.

I am referring to lies like what Marco posted about how BMW acknowledged the issues and changed the SIB, etc.

And the seizures and what caused them are unknown. Again, you can speculate all you want, but no one truly knows the failure mode of any of these engines. And even those who may have a pretty good idea are insignificant in the scope of it all.

When BMW acknowledges a problem, like they did with the N54 Turbos, HPFP's, etc. then we will learn more. Or if we start to see a statistically significant amount of proven N55 failures. But for now, it's just casual noob theory.

I never said you did but now you analogy make more sense: the info they put to print is equally unreliable as what they put on the road.

On you last post about Bmw turbos they acknowledged to nothing. US federal emission laws forced them to replace the turbos. As happened to other automakers. BMW never replaced turbos elsewhere on n54.

Well, they extended the warranty, so they acknowledged the problem. What forced them to do that is irrelevant. But maybe these five guys with failures can get together and file a class action,

BMW is in the top 10 (7th) in dependability. That is pretty good out of 32 auto makers. Mine has been very reliable despite 20psi daily for the past few years so I will definitely by another.

But yeah if I was being overcharged to work on mine and screw up a OFHG or oil change I would be pretty salty too. So I get it.

This thread is pretty much up in order to find correlations between seizures and the condition of the car. It doesn't cost anything to post info on here and can actually be pretty helpful.

I agree that there are a lot of components and mechanical interactions that we don't understand, but by sharing what everyone experienced we can get a clue of what is happening. We will probably never find out the exact cause, but we might find bits.

Instead of being a bitch and breaking everyone's balls because a theory/speculation is not plausible you could easily do everyone a favor and professionaly explain why it wouldn't work and be possible.

Well is it JD power or consumer reports... not the same thing. If CR then IDK but JD Power ratings are done on a survey and not scientific or statistical at all. And dependability does not equal reliability. That ratings only affects the first 3 years of ownership most of the time.

We can handle it just gets annoying since that's all you do on the subject repeatably even though you've already got your point across a few months back. But you just keep going with the same exact point.

Nah, noobs whining about a problem that isn't a problem makes it look bad. That is why you have N54 vendors (MMP stating N55's are "popping like crazy") and owners shit talking the N55 because the nonsense about N55's seizing gets regurgitated by every noob that parrots a post they read posted here by some other noob here or on FB. And then you have dishonest people like Marco just straight making shit up to further their own stupid opinions. Or Ghassan posting up a picture of a broken N55 crank with no context so all the N54 noobs can reshare it 1000 times to show N55 cranks are inferior even that crank could have dropped off a building for all they know.

BMW extended what warranty? On turbos? Upto what 82k miles to meet US emmission law?
20psi daily anecdote is rather funny. You could have 200psi daily for what I care. What difference does it make when you aren't exploiting those PSI always and all the time.
Your BMW isn't any diferent than other BMW built during that time period and they are all unreliable.
OFHG? Yeah, I'm doing one on 40k n55, so why is that?

Yes they extended the warranty on the N54 turbos, what part of that don't you understand? Try and keep up. More power = more wear. And yeah the OFHG's leak, like I said.

And you saying they are all unreliable is exactly what I am talking about, that is just your BS hack opinion that is not based on any facts whatsoever.
