Apparently the N55 is a pain in the arse to crack. Lots of variables. Just hang in there it shouldn't be much longer. Would be nice to have for the summer, though.

I bought my ap when it first came out in December 2012 for my 2011. Have used it for a total of a week since then waiting on my new rom to get supported

I have a n55 engine. The car is a 2011 335xi and I bought a Cobb ap and it works perfectly. I hope they get it working for all the bmws

Yea mine did work perfect then it came up my rom wasn't supported anymore. So I got the dme update and got a new rom. Still not supported

Confirmation, by way of the 1er forum, assuming the same is applicable to most E8x and E9x chassis cars, that we still aren't there yet for mid 2012 onwards ECU support:-

What do you mean? You had it installed and had a map running and then it stopped working?

Hey guys, i just got AP and i got an error while doing an installation for rom 96A0B and 9780B. Got a code at the end (008798098F0BQTG3S) not sure what all this really means im a noob, sorry. But on the cobb site i saw that they supported the 98F0B so im not really sure what to do? How do i figure out the rom version i'm running? If anyone can help, that'd be great. Thanks

Did you call Cobb? They were very helpful when I had a questions on getting my ROM added.

One key in the email I got back from Cobb was setting my accessport manager to download "beta" files. After the update to the accessport, I was all set of the install.

Any comment on when we can see a revision two? Also quick question regarding the difference between stock software and cobb....been noticing a lot of wastegate rattle with my cobb....is this due to it being closed while bmw's software has it slightly open all the time?

So I've have my Cobb AP (N55) installed for about a week now, so far so good! Just happened to be going through all the menu items under "Monitor" and noticed that the AP is only registering my oil temp @ 69 - 72 degrees. My oil temp gauge is working properly and registering around 230 - 240ish degrees after the car is warmed up! Is there something wrong with my AccessPort? I'm on the latest beta firmware version, unless there's been an update since last Sunday. Anyone else seen that anomaly? I did search the thread and didn't find anything pertaining to inaccurate oil temp readings.
