How can I disable the 3 LED corner lights? I want them off all the time.

I already coded the sidemarker_us, sidemarker_us_NF, and sidemarker_us_nfrm and they are all set to "nicht_aktiv".

I getpsw man file from read and execute. I am selecting the ecu CAS.

I have coded many things that work.

I cant get the 3 LEDs in the corners off and I cant get the mirrors to fold.

I believe FRM2 is pre-LCI and FRM3 is LCI. So yours should be a FRM3

I have tried getting mirrors to fold with fobb and follow me home lights and the trunk button does nothjng and Morrors won't fold.

I change values in FSW man file, load it in the NCS and choose CAS and code it.

Any thoughts on this?

thanks fmonteiro i figured thats what i just wanted to make sure.

and whitefury what kind of errors are you getting? or are you getting no errors and as far as you can tell they should be coded? ive read that the follow me home lights dont always work even if it says that the coding ended and all is well. that has been my experience at least...

No errors. I am coding CAS module with NCS.

You need to change KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB and SPIEGEL_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP to Activ

I changed both of those in the FSW man file to "aktiv".

Does absolutely nothing.

I just tried to code off the seat belt chime.

In the ABG. I was able to set SBR_FAHRER_1 (driver side) to nicht_activ. However, I don't have the SBR_BEIFAHRER_1 (passenger side) option. I do have one the says SBR_BEIFAHRER_2_CD. Would that do the trick ?

Folks,

I'm new here. Hi

I've read the OP and it's a little unclear and some of the links are dead. This thread is huge and I'm sorry if my questions have already been answered.

I have a 2011 BMW 318D. It's an E90. I'm in the UK.

I'm thinking of getting this cable:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-USB-OB...item5d49812fc7

It's £17.95 delivered from China. Seems cheap enough. Is it the right cable?

Secondly, what I'm trying to achieve, is for my wing mirrors to automatically fold when I remove my key and automatically unfold when I start the engine. Currently I have to manually press a button on the inside of the driver's door to fold and unfold - and sometimes I forget.

Can anyone help in pointing me in the right direction, please?

Regards.

your cable looks fine, its actually the one i use and it works flawlessly.

not sure if you can code your side mirrors exactly like that. i know for a fact you can code them to fold up when you lock the doors (you have to hold the lock button for a couple seconds) and then fold down when you unlock the doors.

hope that helps

Exclamation

I am currently getting errors for both of my daytime running/parking lamps even though they are working fine. (see attached pics for CC-ID messages, iDrive error descriptions and FRM error codes).

I want to disable the error checks for these bulbs because it is annoying every time I start the car it chimes and has to cycle through showing both errors before they clear from the cluster - then just the little caution triangle stays on.

These are the last errors I have left on the car.

Now because my car is a 2007 e92 (12/2006 build date) [USA built car, now being driven in Canada - my angel eyes (DRL's on an e92), are wired on a totally different circuit than the stock circuit, I have them hooked up to a DRL module which powers on when an DME power wire receives power near where my JB4 is hooked up.... the car came with this DRL module when I bought it. I tried hooking my angel eyes up to the factory circuit, but for whatever reason that circuit is not getting power, so I decided to stick with the DRL module route...]

It has from what I understand whats known as an FRM1 module? in my iDrive I have a setting to turn daytime running lights on or off but it doesn't matter what I set it too these errors still show up....

And because it is an e92 the daytime running/parking lamps are actually different bulbs than the ones on an e90 from what I understand?

Because of all these technicalities - I am not sure what I have to code to disable the error checks for these bulbs. Can anyone please help/point me in the right direction? All I have been able to find has been info for the newer cars 2011+

I have also attached my .txt file from reading my FRM module so you can see what my current settings are.

as you can see I have already done the following: yet the errors still persist...

FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv
CC_MEL_SL_BEI_DEF_RL_BL_1
nicht_aktiv
CC_MELD_PARKLICHT
nicht_aktiv

Any help is appreciated thanks guys!

Unfortunately your FRM module is probably bricked.

How can it be bricked when I just enabled 1 touch window roll up with door open by coding it the other day?
