i agree that a kit is the hardest to choose, since it changes the entire look of the car.
Alex, it seems like you want to keep the classiness of the car intact which i fully agree. The kit you have on order i think fits the bill. Not overly aggressive, but subtle. Plus you know there's going to be a ton of other kits that'll come out by next year. So maybe wait until you see something you really like and it won't be hard to sell your kit at all. Are you gonna have the rims on by the meet? I have to see these before i go! |

You know what, I go to a lot of meets and people from some meets AND people that don't know anything about my car always ask me what body kit I have on the front. I tell them it's OEM BMW and they are like OEM??? NO WAY. That's one reason why the aero lip is still one of my favorites.
That and polyurethane > ***

btw, on the way back i raced with my brother. I am alone in 6mt G35, and he's in 6AT 335 coupe with a 200+ lbs guy. I gunned my G35 and took off and was about 1/2 a car ahead of him, by the time i got to 70 mph he was 2 cars ahead of me. he said he gave me like 3 seconds head-start (bullshit.. i heard him gun it) i might have gained 0.5 second or something. so far im impressed with the car. it drives weird, and everything in it is different. I have to idea how you can compare the G35 to 335! they are different in every single aspect, im not joking. i test drove the 6mt 335 coupe last night too. the difference between that and the G35 6mt is like day and night. let me try to explain: immediate gear engagement, the clutch felt like it was loose or broken (sure it wasnt, but compared to the super stiff G35 clutch it might seem so) in case you didnt understand what i meant and already  what i mean is the clutch on the 335 is very crisp and smooth |
