Marc, that's not what happened when I picked up my car. When my CA told me the car was released to the trucking company (Bavarian something), the car was picked up the same day and delivered the same day. And I went to the dealer to pick up my car the following morning.

For me, the vessel arrived at the port on Saturday and I got my car the following Thursday.

I hear you, Jerry's car arrived on the 17th, 7 days from there would be Tuesday of next week. The don't seem that far off the mark, maybe a day which could easily be explained by when the car was released (unless these guys work 24/7)

Marc, they're bs'ing you! The vessel discharged on Saturday June 14, 2008. I got the information from Wallenius Wilhelmsen's website and they are dead on accurate. I did not get the info through BMW's phone # or website. I know those data are inaccurate.

Trust me, I'm in the shipping business, I should know. It's just that my company does not have the ro-ro (roll on roll off) service for automobiles. It's only WW and KLine.

And they can't say that the car arrived at the VPC on the 17th either. Because once the ship docks, it will be unloaded right away, because it will needs to sail to another port for another discharging of the cargo/automobiles. And the port is right there, all they do is drive the cars from the port to the VPC on the same day. I know, because I went to the VPC tour.

So Im meeting an old friend that I probably havent seen in about 4 years. Hes probably not even going to recognize chubby Lana. I dont even want him to see me like this but I cant put off hanging out anymore.

Scott....the sales manager sent me the shipping manuscript from the processing center, it said the car arrived at port on 17th. I saw the same information you did on Wallenius as well.
