I have had some fantastic and expensive spirits, including Tequilas in my time.
My favorite are Clase Azul, Adictivo Extra Anejo, Don Julio 1942. On a recent trip to my local liquor store, they had a tasting for MI Familia Reposado. It was good but not something I would buy. The manager who I know happened to walk up at that moment. He asked what I thought. I told him, " Meh". He knows my tastes. Particularly my fondness of ultra Premium Sipping Rums and Cognac. He invited me to the back where he opened a bottle of the Mi Familia Reserva Suprema. OMG.... I can't even put into words how amazing this juice is! I bought a bottle on the spot. If you are a fan of Tequila, you must get this one immediately. Report back here and tell me what you think... Prepare to be blown away.

Drank a bunch of this the last 2 weekends and ready for another. I tried several variations, all good, disappears too quickly.

A Tuaca toddy, also known as a hot apple pie. Perfect for the holiday season. Add a shot of Tuaca to hot cider and it literally tastes like apple pie going down. I like to spice mine up further with a shot of rye added to the mix.

I've got a dead Bumbu XO. Luckily there's another bottle on the shelf.

Definitely let me know what you think. And recommendation: Although you can certainly stir it in to mix, I highly recommend shaking it instead. And again, use the amount listed. It's very concentrated. |

Delicious...shaking works great. I have altered the amounts a tad. 4/1 Woodford to Strongwater, heavy ice.

All the haters of the Jose...when was the last time you tasted it? I am just curious cuz I hated it too but in the last few years I have noticed that they stepped their game up! Its nowhere near what I consider good tequila or one I'd sip neat. However, it tastes nothing like it did say 10 years ago! It actually has some pleasant flavors going on now. Just curious thats all
