You are right. Surgery is usually not required unless it is a grade 3 or above which means your AC joint(the bump on top of you shoulder) is sticking up really high. Difficult case to do. Don't see too many of these. Maybe 2-3 a year.

yea thats the one. they said the bump will stay there unless i want them to screw it back in. i passed on grass, i like my bump. then to freak people out i start to lick it. funny stuff

probably true but I'm only 4 months removed (last semester) so it's a little more "fresh" in my mind than most.
