Only thing you have to do is do it when the transmission is cold.

There is a warning in the service manual saying to be sure that the temperature is under 104* when you go to fill the fluid.

Do you have a copy of that manual?

You mean the DCT issue? Not that I know of. But don't you use BQ for tuning? I thought he had some way to deal with it, albeit with kid gloves. He explained in passing, but I didn't take note since it doesn't pertain to a 6MT. And oh boy am I glad I have a 6MT if not for that very reason. No worries about any boost ceiling with me . . . .

At what level does that issue become apparent? Isn't it only highly modified setups (500hp+)?

At ~21 psi of boost. That's the 1.28 bar ceiling in the DME on the 335is INAOS map. It applies regardless of how highly modded/what whp you're running. When you try to run an MHD tune that pushes past that boost limit (using an N20 TMAP sensor instead of the stock one, and the MBoost module on MHD so you can read actual boost, the tune being scaled so the DME is reading boost scaled below the limit), no problem with a the 6MT. The DCT? Another story.

Anyone running bits and pieces from the m3 suspension such as control arms on with our m-sport suspension?

Worth it?

I've thought about it since I have to do my tension struts but the meyle HD ones seem to be a better option that doesn't change the geometry of the suspension.

^Did you enable the over run burbles to be more than stock? Sounds like it. And any difference in feel after the MHD flash?

Yeah I set it to 2 sec aggressive. It sounds much louder in person. Definitely feel a difference even just on the stage 1 and DCI. Next up is FMIC

I run all the M3 parts plus the BMW performance shocks and springs. Makes a world of difference along with real performance tires.

I run scaled boost on my DCT. No issue whatsoever.

Could I get a list of the parts you run and where you bought them?

Is it just me or did the market demand decline for 335is cars? Seen a couple posted on the classified but barely catching any interest.

With DCT once you push past the limit you either have to scale boost and cause more stress on the trans or push past the sensor limit and hope BQs tune will not cause the motor to blow. BQ is an awesome tuner with amazing support, but it's a little risky.

You need to check auto trader and few sites. looks like there are a few out there for sale. But you also have to remember that dealerships that have them can not sell them until they get the air bag issue fixed. Then they can put on the market. (That is what dealership told me when we test drove a 640i that my wife liked.)

Cheers

Almost all 2013 335is' are coming off their lease and dealerships have begun repairing the airbags so there is plenty on the market right now... give it a couple years let prices bottom out and slowly start going up
