Also, its significantly easier to change the t-stat and water pump if you take the FMIC and fanout. You create a lot more room to work with. Last, I'd also replace the U shaped pipe that connects the t-stat and waterpump.

Just some friendly advice.
Thanks for the advice. I'm at 140k. Mounts have been done. I got the Water pump and Tstat kit from FCP. It comes with wp to tstat U hose and bolts. Taking the fan and FMIC out definitly opens thongs up. Going to do the belt while I have the fan out
Make sure you do the pulleys too. ECS makes a kit. Idk if FCP does or not

Power steering pump finally failed after making all kinds of racket for the last two weeks or whatever. I was about a mile from home when it failed and about a half mile out I could tell the belt was coming off/shredding. I ended up having to pull out little strands of belt from the water pump pulley. Luckily I think that's the only pulley the belt surrounded.

It's actually what someone else did to my car yesterday, basically destroyed my 2016 X5. Some injuries but nothing life threatening, but thanks for thinking of us.

Got T boned drivers side by a suspended driver with outstanding warrants, Ahole, when he blew the stop sign at full speed. I am guessing by the extensive damage both sides will total loss but who knows what it will be, adjuster coming soon. After initial impact on driver side, impact redirected my X5 toward a building but avoided it by going up the curb but took out a metal pole which ripped through the front panel both doors and the rear panel on the passenger side, so both sides and front axle look gone to me but I am no mechanic.
Ahole got multiple tickets , suspended, stop sign, reckless and was arrested on open warrants. Additional charges to follow. In NJ can charge criminally for causing an injury while driving suspended.
All in all thankful injuries were minimal but now all the BS I have to deal with because of some Ahole.
PS yep got the rental before my wife thinks shes getting the 335, LOL

BMS 12 and 15mm spacers on 284s. Perfectly mild for a DD. Considering a minor drop with either Sport springs or SP perches.

Installed Lamin X to prevent my headlights from oxidizing. The included instructions are terrible. The old instructions are a lot more helpful. The temperature of the film and heat gun is key to get the film to wrap around the curvature of the headlights.

hey Bro,

I am going to do paint correction and apply CSL and Exo coatings on my car, so I am doing this in parts.

so regarding front bumper, i started off with Carpro Ironx to decontaminate paint, washed with soap, dried, applied touchup paint, let it cure for few hours and wet sanded to smooth down the areas I covered.

used polisher with griots garage polishing pad + fast correcting cream to remove sanding marks and swirls, then used carpro essence with polishing pad to enhance paint clarity.

wiped with IPA and then applied 3M Clear bra precut on entire bumper and fogs. I will do headlights and paint correction and apply GTechnic CSL & Exo coatings on rest of the car later.

Got my tires balanced and changed my oil. Mann Filter + 7L of Rowe 5w40 from FCPEuro for about $53! Not bad at all. And they'll even take it back for an exchange for my next fill. This may be the very last oil change I ever buy.

It's interesting: I could hardly find anything about Rowe on BMW forums, but there were plenty in German and Russian. It must be relatively new to come to the states, but everything I've read about it suggests is up there with all the other quality brands. All I know is, it's a great deal.

Pair of new solenoids installed, belt tensioner replaced, oil changed and cleaned my nasty ass cold air filter. Almost 11 years old and 182K later, still holding up nicely!

Took the day off to install my Bilstein B12 Kit. Great improvement in comfort and responsiveness.

I'll post pics once it settles

Pick up new socks and shoes.

Keeping it stock on "19 will be dropping it and getting wider wheels for the back.
