They are calling for rain tomorrow with a temperature of 7°C (44.6°F) |

Looks like winter might be finished?
No more snow in the forecast for us. They're calling for above freezing temps and rain for the next week or two, bringing us into early March. And with the average temps being so high, any snow wouldn't last very long if it snows at all. |

Saturday pm after all my chores were done, I was TIRED. I put the lawn chair out in the sun, shirt off and shorts rolled up. The sun was too bright to let me sleep, the shade temps was 73.
Early this morning my/wife phone were chirping about imminent rain. High clouds and 56 right now on the coast. I bought several packages of seed and put them in the freezer. Also have a couple early 2" containers of tomatoes and poblanes ready to go in the ground.

All over the map. This morning we got 1" of fluff in 29 minutes. Tomorrow they are calling for 14°C (57.2°F)

Snowing. "Heavy snow" expected in the Cascade Mountains but we're in the foothills. Sort of iffy whether we get much.

We got a new record; 13.4°C (56.1°F).
The old one was 9.9°C (49.8°F). |

Our high here today was 60.4 F, which right now is the year's high for 2024. We'll be paying for it tonight judging by the line of T-storms to our west on the radar, and are under a wind advisory for possible 50 MPH gusts from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday morning.....

Some strange weather rolling through... Last afternoon we had a thunderstorm, and apparently again early this morning (I was fast asleep).
Temperature now is in the low teens +13C (55F) and going to drop about 20C this afternoon to -7C(19F). |

Storm in the gulf near Anchorage is heading to SoCal. Saturday/Sunday COLD rains, snow levels down to about 3500'
Some of the northern Sierras are expecting 5-10 FEET of snow

77 yesterday until the floor dropped out around 5pm. At midnight, it was 12 degrees and snowing. We now have 1 inch of snow on the ground and icy streets and it's 15 degrees. Tomorrow it will be 60. LOL. Kansas weather.
