Just a local garage near Southampton, his email is chalkymon1971@hotmail.co.uk
If you also type in Terraclean Southampton (or any other location) it comes up with a few other choices as well. Quick search saw a quote of £110.

Retrimmed wheel from Jack at Royal Steeringwheels fitted. The M3 DCT paddles are a huge improvement over the rubbish push/pull of the standard wheel.

Steering wheel looks good. Was tempted by the newer paddles but I've got used to original ones and I'm sure I read it's more akward rewiring them with the dct.

Got my car back very happy with the quality of the brake caliper repaint. Dunno how to post pics off phone

Click go advanced, scroll down to manage attachments & click on, then click on choose file & it should give u option of where to upload pic from, click on photo library or whatever, select pic & click upload wait for it to load then click on close this window at bottom of page, then preview or submit reply.
Sometimes the files maybe to big, then u have to pounce about reducing the pic size.

Let's have a look at those tasty red calipers

Yes they performed the update. Why wont your's update? I heard theres a certain time on 09 models that wont update unless you update firmware.

Not sure they are the 193m design? I may have got it wrong. Also they seem to be 19ins and I want 18ins. Thanks anyway.

How did you get connected drive for free? Thought it was a paid subscription.

Long story, but in brief they had an issue with their ConnectedDrive portal, i complained and after a few emails backwards and forwards over a couple of months, they gave me a free 6 months sub. I said not good enough, i want 12 months. I got my 12 months free

Ahh I see! Well good on you for getting that in any case. I bought the car used so never had it. I'm not sure if its part of Connected Drive but does it allow you to make a route on google maps and then 'send' it to your car? Thats one useful thing I'd like, other than that is there anything else with it you use frequently?

There is a BMW Routes portal (which is better than Google Maps) where you can design routes and send them to your car. The weather app is decent as well, with radar maps of the cloud / rain / snow.

No issues or expenses other than £12 for some bmw coolant. As my second water pump only lasted 40k & the radiator having been changed & non bmw coolant having been used I'm taking no chances with my third water pump, I had all the coolant flushed when the new pump went on & will now only use the bmw stuff

Cars running very nicely at the moment & I was able to enjoy some smiles per miles last weekend with the sun shining & some good temperatures as the PSS on the rear don't like cold damp roads
