Not at the moment buddy, just about fast enough for the Devon lanes I think. Plus had quite enough attention from the White 535d and his Grey brother that seem to be glued to my bumper most of the time!

Carlos, when you get to Germany Friday afternoon, go to the closest German bank and use your ATM card. You won't pay a commission on the exchange and you'll get a better rate. Enquire of your local (UK) bank to make sure it will work for you. Mine does.

I still have a few Euros I got in France in January. I wonder if they've expired yet or if they'll be usable in Germany.

Chaps. An obvious point to make BUT !

When you check in at 8AM on fFriday morning at Eurotunnel, you stick the card you booked it on into the machine and it gives you your boarding pass you hang from your rear view mirror.

We are all booked on the 8:50AM train...... it may well offer you an earlier train, don't be tempted by this (unless your an unsocial bast), just select the 08:50 crossing.

Really looking forward to catching up with everyone on Friday. Been trying to find a suitable location for my DOGCAM so the marshals can't see it, but it's not looking good The camera is very good and with the Archos 500 recording it should work a treat, once I can figure out where to hide it!

Giving the car a good clean and wax tomorrow, have topped up the oil, water, etc...

Roll on Friday

Biscuits, they weren`t too hot on Camera spotting last weekend, nearly everycar with a passenger was holding a handycam.

I`d put the bullet camera between the slots of your grille and you`ll be fine.

COOL

Maybe they have just given up trying to police it and only do it now and then to prove a point (like the noise tests)

It actually looks pretty good wedged inbetween the passenger headrest and seat, gives a good view of the dash and road ahead.

Hope you had a good time... we are just a tad excited!

Beetween the seat and headrest is good if your not carrying a passenger.

If anyone is using a mobile phone or traditional style camera, a good idea is to get some rolls of velcro (halfords sell it) and "strap" it to the sunvisor, you can flip the visor down once you go through the barriers. Some friends have been doing this for a couple of years now with very good results.
