Wow Joe, those look just as good as mine do! I guess you and I are lucky to get nearly perfect sets (besides the driver's side length)...They look phenomenal on your car and makes it look tight!!!

Congrats to both of you on having the most perfect fitting sets you assholes! LOL!

JK... I'm still rocking the "premodded V3" set and I already hit Pat up for a new modded set that addresses my bulging in the front ().

Car looks fuckin' awesome Joe! Do I sense a photoshoot in the near future?!?!

@Thorshammer:

Did you say you had some tabs missing in the front of one of your sideskirts? Did you happen to open your box up when it arrived and examine both of them for shipping damage etc.? I always do that as soon as anything I order comes in...

If that's the case, I'm surprised you took the skirts as they were to the bodyshop...

I didn't inspect them prior to going to the shop. Put them in the back of the truck, drove over there, we opened them together, and everything looked fine. Wondered what the 3M tape was for, but that's it.

What's missing is that notch along the front that is supposed to "clip" in. There's nothing there...no material at all. It's like a birth defect for sure. Can't explain it and wish I had taken pictures on the inside of the skirt.

Anyway, they replaced the protruding bolts, shaved down part of the car, and fashioned a bracket/clip to get the front to stay. They also repaired the cracks and repainted them. If you look closely, you can tell where the cracks were, but it's good enough for me.

The passenger side was on, but they hadn't done the driver's side yet because they wanted to show me what they had done. I will pick it up this afternoon and hopefully that will be the end of it.

Total cost for this ended up being just north of $200.

Talking with Pat, it sounds like a shipment from Taiwan has come through recently, hence he brought mine over....I would guess you will be getting yours soon. Ping Frank.

Well Joe's is much better fitting then mine which is good since it means that they have already made changes to the new ones that were shipped...Mine fit well on, but the bolts underneath had to be dremeled to make them fit, while Joe's said his fit without a hitch!!! THe only bad thing is they made changes to the fitment but still haven't corrected the length of the driver's side!

Yah!!! I was excited to see NO bolt shaving, I can deal with 1-2 mm on the drivers side, as it is not noticeable past 12"

Other than this minor issue, I would rate these skirts at 100% Also, plaint quality is TOP NOTCH.

It looks better than almost ANY OEM M3 sideskirts I have seen except for Cyba and one other guy in upstart NY, I forget this screen name.

Once they have manufacturing and shipping figuired out for this product I have no qualms in recommending these sideskirts as a "must buy"...Actually DON'T Buy them, I like having more exclusivity

Thanks MFD!!!!

GD M-F'er!!!! I picked her up, and everything looked great. Just got home, get out of the car, and SOB f'ing front [edit]passenger[edit] DRIVER side is popped out.

I GIVE THE F UP!!! I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow and having both skirts removed, and they're going in the trash. GD'it! I'm so pissed it's beyond stupid. I don't even care anymore. I should have known to just get a refund a long time ago.

Whatever. Live and learn.

These aren't worth my time anymore.

If they would just send me a replacement, then fine. I'd wait as long as it took.

But no way in hell am I taking my time to package that piece of shit and send it back to them.

Not being a smart ass, but you were prepared to pay over $200 to repair them, so maybe at least take some photos and shoot them to MFD?

They seem fairly reasonable and it's in their best interests to have satisfied customers on this thread. I (like a few other people) are watching and waiting to pull the trigger on these once everything seems sweet, because at the moment the results have been mixed. But Frank has assured me the issues are being sorted out and should be right to ship v soon.

Just a thought

Not "prepared to pay"...I DID pay. They fixed the cracks, paint, adjusted my car, everything. I'm not getting that money back. So what? Now I'm supposed to waste more time, effort, energy and money? What's done is done. They're not going to keep working on the car for free, so it's either my time or my money, one or the other. It's frustrating, and it's just too much.

No thanks. I appreciate you trying to push me in that direction, but I'm over it.

This whole thing has been a waste, and I'm not investing a single second more than absolutely necessary.

The more I think about it, they should have just sent me a GD replacement and taken my word for it. I included pics in my message, so why the hell would I ask for just one side-skirt if it wasn't jacked up?

I feel your pain, i have been through similar situations with other cars in the past. The right thing that needs to be done is that MFD needs to get you a replacement Drivers Side ASAP!!!!!!

Done and done....

Sorry to hear that ThorsHammer. its been a year since they first posted making this side skirt and still having fitment problem. IMHO, they should give you full refund plus the money you spent on trying to get it fix.
