Yup irritating as hell, even if it's only the 4 minutes a year my car sees rain

Hey guys just wanted to give a quick update. The car is finished and back at home in less then a week. I was very satisfied with the turn around time. I had the work done at Rogers Master Collision across from MW. They were great to work with and the car looks good. My only problem, as Nick mentioned before, is that the new headlight and fog light looks so much better then the old ones. I guess in time they will get beat up too.

Awesome car! I actually really like those wheels. Can't help but ask, how many fuel pumps has it had?

Good to hear man! I'm really annoyed at how easy the headlight covers chip. Wish we could go back to the good old days when they used glass instead of plastic!

There were a few threads here on polishing the headlight covers. Might be worth a shot?

So I'd like to take a moment to make myself feel good and ...justify what I've been doing for the last 9 hours. Perhaps you can tell me if I've crossed the line into insanity.

I think I might have the cleanest E9x in America!!! haha Ttoday I washed the car and did the usual exhaust tip/muffler polishing and wheel cleaning, vacuum, etc, but then I took it one [too many] steps further.

-Buffed the car with electric buffer/polish compound
-Waxed on, buffed, Wax Off
-Sprayed Wax on the Rims and buffed out
-Jacked up the car 2 feet and polished the entire exhaust system.
-Removed the sideskirts and cleaned behind them
-Removed the front doors and cleaned in the tight spots up front.
-Removed the window trim off and cleaned behind it.

I am home on spring break...so now I'm kinda bummed I don't have anything else to do for the rest of the week

Have I crossed the line into insanity?

I haven't found the ball yet but whatever. I'll need more light to do that. I can't believe I had the second key in the car since day one. lol - the battery is dead but I can't help but think that this has been my CA issue the whole time...
