Hello all, please I need your help. I have an E90 from 2006 with a CIC retrofit from CCC. My car has TCU and I want to make a COMBOX retrofit for Bluetooth phone, internet, online, etc.
I found this : 8410 9248179-01, can someone tell me if this will work with my car? I mean that tis combox will have INTERNET ? ONLINE? BLUETOOTH PHONE?

I know I will need some cables retrofit and some coding, but I just want to know if this part number 84109248179 will have all functions available with correct coding and wiring.

That'll work and give you INTERNET, ONLINE, BLUETOOTH PHONE etc, but it is a Telematics one which isn't strictly required. You could get a cheaper Combox Media one, but no need to if this one is at the right price.

@churmit , thank for your answer. It is on 150 USD without conector. I will have to buy connectors witch maybe will be 50 USD. So I think that on 200 USD it is OK.

So i read i will loose bmw assist if i upgrade from ccc to cic. Does that mean i will lose the emergency stuff? I heard if im in an accident bmw assist will automatically call for help. Is this even true? Thanks

You don't lose BMW assist if you go from CCC to CIC. You lose BMW Assist/SOS if you install Combox Media instead of TCU.

Ok. So going from ccc, which already has the usb port in armrest, to cic with combox, all im gaining
Is bluetooth streaming (fixed with a dongle), bmwapps (dont need...or do i..???) And internet tethering(dont need). So if i do cic with tcu itll pretty much be the same as ccc but with faster stuff and nicer graphics. And maps will still be supported. Is that correct?
