Bad news
Bad news for all ED guys - my dealer just told me that he did not get any of the ED cars that were off the boat on June 19, so if our cars were discharged on 26, we have at least a week of wait... I do not want to beleive this. I already scheduled clear bra and detailing appointments and a roadtrip for next weekend
I'm in DC and the car was discharged in NY port. |

I don't see how that'd be possible as the Freedom didn't arrive in Charleston, SC until July 1st. Charleston, SC is where vehicles delivered to FL are discharged.

I'm not even sure I was on the Freedom, asked CA, he went into the system and confirmed over the phone with me that my car is due in this Friday or Monday. It's earlier than I thought too. Well see.

Gerbs - cars from 19th were from another ship (I thought that was obvious - much more logical than cars unloaded into the ocean), and they still are not delivered. Cars from Freedom were oficially unloaded on 26 - 7 days later. So if cars from 19th are not there yet now, it makes sense to assume that ED cars from Freedom are not getting here winthin the next 7 days. This is not something I expected, as dealer initially said 7-10 days total, and some other DC-area people from Freedom are already driving their bimmers...

It'd be sweet if our cars floated though.

Right, my VIN has never showed up either on the WW and NYKLine sites but dealer told me twice that my car is due by Fri or Mon. All the tracking stuff posted here has not really helped me much. The OC still has me On Route but dealer says it's past VPC by now.

My status just changed to at VPC on Owner's Circle. It must have just happened, I checked it a few hours ago and it still said en route.

My status on OC has also changed to VPC. Interestingly, the status on the 800 is "vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel". Could this mean, the car is through the VPC and awaiting a truck? I hope so!!!

Mine was at the VPC as of last night aswell, but from what I've read on the forums - once the OC displays your status as "At VPC", that really means you're on a truck (assuming your vehicle passed through the VPC without any issues)
OC = 1-2 days behind... edit: just did a search, and in less than 30 seconds, found this post: Quote:

For the Texas cars, my CA just emailed me to tell me that the Houston cars are shipped to the Port of Houston by boat and then driven to the dealerships. For my car, he claims he has an arrival date for the 8th and then 3-5 days for unloading and trucking to the dealership. Does that "story" seem consistent with what your CA's are telling you?
Why in the H... would they put the cars back on a train to Charleston to be loaded on ships to make it to Houston and then loaded on trucks??? |

Finally got the call I was waiting for from my CA - My car has been delivered to the dealer, and I take delivery tonight at 6PM!
Seems like it took forever.....
