Yea it made a bit of difference.

Did my first logs on mhd. I was surprised it logged more then 20 things.

Does that have any ill effects?

Running 20psi still with a pretty low wgdc of 40-45%. Low and high pumps are like I'm on pump fuel still.

Once I get the new sensor I should be able to go another 2 or 3 psi before needing pi.

Running 20psi still with a pretty low wgdc of 30%. Low and high pumps are like I'm on pump fuel still.

There is two type of WGDC parameters. not sure which one you are looking at but some times people get them confused with each other.

WGDC base Value %

WGDC Bank ( 1 or 2) %

WGDC base value is the amount of commanded duty cycle from the wgdc "base table" and "wgdc adder"per Mass Air Flow requested.

Your "total wgdc" you will find logged in WGDC Bank 1% or 2% which include base and what PID "added to it".

Only been logging base for a long time.

The numbers have seemed to have dropped on the base going from old rbs to inlets then to new rbs and intercooler.

Ill ad them considering you can log alot of parameters now.

Wouldn't mind logging to get a virtual dyno to compared to old rbs to the new ones.

Mods that add "efficiency" to the turbos will lower wastegate duty cycle and this is what you want .

I have started playing with boost by gear for launching.

I started with full boost and it's obviously too much.

Then I went with the nominated boost by gear by mhd which is 1st 120 2nd 160.

1st seemed ok maybe could go less to make it more consistent, 2nd still lights the rears just on the roll so ill back it down to 140 and see how it goes.

Drags are on the 23rd and brasher nats are on the 30th and 1st.

This is so good to drive!

Limiting the load no. on mhd options is not changing the boost.

Any ideas whats up?

its just stays on 20psi

i just re flashed and changed the load again while out on a drive to 90 and it still stayed on 20psi??

Did a couple of third gear logs and put them on Virtual dyno.

Lowest no.s taken from both runs

553hp 514lbft or 412 kw 696nm 20 psi ambient 36c lowest my iats could get were around the 110f mark.

Logs
http://datazap.me/u/brule/bqe40rb18a...og=0&data=4-24

This is on dynojet setting as I have always used comparing to US forum cars

If i put it on VD mode it only makes 519hp and 491ftpd 386kw
Mustang 493hp 466ftpd 367kw

Wow!!! And at only 20psi.

I'm waiting for your 500wkw run on 27psi.

I could only imagine how your car would go in a cooler Australian city in the winter.

FWIW this is my VD numbers for comparison (FBO stock turbos/inlets E50 PTF map)

http://www.datazap.me/u/dr-jekl/ptf-...og=0&data=1-22

This equated to 316rwkw on the advan dyno with sticky NT05 tyres.

So you ran 477rwhp on the VD which is 355rwkw, but on the Advan dyno you ran 315rwkw

So it overestimated by 13% ?

It is what it is, I just added purely for Brendan as a comparison...

As mentioned my dyno results were with 275/30 NT05 'semi' slicks which hurts power a little bit... Also my car had been at advan for over 3 months and when I checked my tyres on the way home tyre pressure was at 28 psi... (I'm not making excuses but a regular tyre with 40 psi could yield another 5-10 rwkw)

I was very optimistic with the VD results, it seemed to always yield higher than possible power figures I only used it a few times though as a rough guide when map changes were done.

Virtual dyno is not really comparable to advans dyno.

Compared to my last virtual dyno on rbs and same tuning i was around 530hp or 390kw.

Now with a bigger intercooler and piping and rb stealths I have picked up 20 or so hp with the same boost.

Try smoothing to 6 and see what you get.
Temperature and barometer are not entered either they are stock configuration

what he's trying to point out is that VD shows optimistic power levels, designed to emulate the ridiculously high reading American dynos which are generally 15% higher than actual dynos in Australia.

Your 412kw on VD should equate to an actual dyno run of about 350-380kw. My 412kw actual dyno run would probably be nearly 475kw on VD or American Dynojet.

Regardless of actual numbers, those RB Stealths looks like they're the business at only 20psi! What's even more impressive is you've undertaken all the work yourself and the first in the world to fit RB Stealths on an RHD car! Can't wait to see wht you pull at the drags coming up! All the best!
