Did you order on line, or find in a store?

I'm a big Bushmills fan, now I have to see if the guberment run liquor stores here will carry it. I suspect not so it'll have to wait for my next trip south in January.

It's a limited run so who knows how long it'll be around. Had some last night and really liked it. It's got more of a kick to the taste than regular Bushmills (but still pretty smooth) and it is 92 proof.

Went back to Total Wine & More today and bought their last 4 bottles, so I'll have some for a while.

Check on line Murf if you're interested.

We can't buy liquor on line in Canada. I've sent a note to my buddy who's in the biz to see if he can score us a couple of bottles.

Yeah that sucks, doesn't it? One of my all time favourite beers is not available here in NS but the LCBO carries it. Every time I road trip to TO I fill the trunk with as much as I can fit and cross my fingers that I don't get caught transporting on the way home.

Maybe not between the US and Canada but I order Scotch from Alberta all the time, they delivered in all provinces. They seem to have a good selection of rum (100)

Trivia: "Pyrat" was the internal code name for the BMW E82 1M (featuring 'Valencia Orange Metallic' as signature color).

"Before the 1 Series M Coupe was given its official designation, BMW M referred to the model internally as «Pyrat», allegedly because of the engineers' affection for a spiced rum of the same name"
"Above all else it's a car that allows the M Division to fly the pirate flag once again within BMW and in some ways the automotive world. And it all sort of makes sense considering the code name for the 1M is «Pyrat». A name inspired by late nights creating the car followed up by later nights drinking Pyrat Rum"

Interesting. I always thought Pyrat XO was a spiced rum as opposed to a dark rum. Of course, also opposed to the thinking that it's a rum flavored orange liqueur 😉
