Well, sadly, the list should be longer but good shows are hard to find, and some of the above faded as the seasons progressed. Forgot to put GOT.

Ya, Antony Starr before he was Homelander.

Warrior should be right up my alley but I gave up after a season thereabouts, imho unfortunately kinda like the movie Ip Man, the first one is good enough but then it just repeats somewhat w paint-by-numbers villains/factions.

Murf the Surf if you liked Jett, she's in Leopard Skin and I liked that too (maybe same director/producer? not sure, but the feel is similar).

I really enjoyed every series I’ve watched that was recommended in this thread. With one exception - WTF was with White Lotus????? I kept watching it because so many liked it, thinking it would turn. I finished season 1. Will not be watching season two. Granted, the characters were fucked up but….

Give me assassins, terrorists, meth making crazies, CIA shit and forensics by day serial killer by night. This rich, politically correct asshole nonsense you can keep.

Rant over.

By the way, I finished Homeland. Holy shit. It’s at the top of the list.

Just kidding.

Actually, I don’t think I could list as many as that.

I'm with you, tried White Lotus and just couldn't get past a couple of episodes.

House of Cards was a good watch. Freaky at times and if you can get past Kevin Spacey and his weirdness as a person, the show itself was really good.

Ya, ofc I know you're joking cmon

It's a toss-up, sometimes I come across a good movie, sometimes there's a staying power coming from a good series. I don't think that the format plays much part. *shrug*

Maybe someone can psycho-analyze me lol. I LOVE the horror genre and I enjoy comedy well enough but I don't actively search that out. I can't remember the last comedy series I've watched, just can't get into it. Same goes for movies.

We're on season 5 of Animal Kingdom. If you haven't watched it I'd give it a suggestion, kind of has a Point Break vibe to it.

I'm just the opposite. Would rather watch an hour and a half or so story (movie) versus a continuing soapy (TV series), which is what they usually turn into AFAIC.

I do like a good horror series. I'm re-watching American Horror Story. Currently on Season 3: Coven.

AHS has its moments. It's a shame the Exorcist series was cancelled, it was kinda spooky. Evil is alright and I like its message. Urban Legend is a nice surprise, esp since I'm not a fan of Eli Roth. Horror is always slim pickings though, unfortunately.

I want to watch the Exorcist series. I will eventually. I’ve heard good things about it.

It was so good but some fool decided to cancel it.

House of cards is weird. I am not as big a fan as others are, not just because I am a fussy SOB but because the show has it's flaws. The characters very, very quickly get unbelievable and the last season is truly terrible.

I also have a massive hate on for Robin Wright.

HoC is essentially over after season 3 or 4. It's one of those shows where season 1 was by far the best so it's a collage of diminishing return episodes from that point on....Kinda like Dexter

Agree completely. First few seasons are solid, then it goes downhill rapidly. I didn't even finish it, that's how bad it was.

highly disappointed. The Firm ended season 1 with a cliff hanger to the main story line... and wasn't renewed for season 2. I'll never know the ending.... the Bastards at NBC need to do a wrap up episode/made for TV movie. I looked up the series on line and found NBC changed the night and time 3x during season 1. It never got the following it deserved

My wife has lost interest in Jack Ryan too. 2 good seasons, then crap. S3E1 couldn't hold my attention for 30 minutes. My wife made it to S3E4.
