I was going to post that when you remember milk coming in glass bottles. However, we still get our milk in glass bottles as an option in our area. Three buck bottle deposit, in case anyone was wondering.....

Yeah, the C word is a bad word, but we've made some progress when it comes to it.

Hope everything turns out okay for you.

My 55th is in September. Don't you feel younger now!

So, I'm about 10 years older. I've got to tell you and the rest of you young people that the past 10 years have been awesome for me. Travel, hiking, grand kids, amazing family, great friends, retired. It's all good!

You are just getting started.

Yeah, I remember. But then it was delivered to your door. And we sat out the empty bottles for pick up.

Back when I was a kid, we used to get milk and orange juice (in paper cartons) delivered to our house twice per week by a milk man.

With the farm-to-table movement these days, we have a few dairy farms in our region offering milk in glass bottles again as an option. There is a taste difference between the glass bottles and plastic jugs, even from the same cows/farm.....

I drink Fairlife fat free milk these days. Love it, it's delicious. Also lower in sugar, higher in protein and calcium than regular milk.

45 years ago today I got off a bus at Ft. Knox and had to go stand on footprints painted on the ground. Summer from hell.

When you have chance to do something stupid and your common sense says "Nah that's a poor decision" I won't drive 80 through a residential neighborhood....

The Kohl's in Upland is very close to me. I go to look and try on and then go home and buy, like twenty shirts online. That will last me for a few years.
