I haven’t checked with anyone but Schmiedmann is the way to go for all RoW parts, shipping is fast and not outrageous.

The roof skin is about $1,000 new from BMW and I figure it would be around $3,000 with paint and headliner. I will be going this route with my Sparkling Graphite car should I start down the rabbit hole with it. Right now it has sagging sunroof fabric and I don't want to take it apart (did on an e36, not fun!) or pay someone to fix it (expensive!).

I have fixed the sagging sunroof using a fabric adhesive and it looked normal afterwards.

Rear passenger lights don't matter, they're black anyway with the clear lens. Even in my beige car the unit itself was black.

Cargo cover hook receivers in the headliner are a little harder. There's actually some interesting info about them that I couldn't quite figure out. But, the black ones that I got fit and work perfectly. Long story short, the depth of them varies somehow. Not sure why exactly as I couldn't find the right info, but if you remove one, you'll see there's a depth from the front face (the edge part that goes outside the headliner) to the rear edge where they sit against the metal bracket that the bolts screw into. My beige ones were a little "deeper" than the black ones I have. I'll have to look for the pictures again... Took some in hopes of explaining this, not sure I kept them. But anyway, when I installed the black ones, being that they weren't quite as deep, I had to tighten them a little extra until they seated tight against the metal framework of the roof. It sucked the headliner up a little tighter, but it looks fine and everything is secure. I still don't know what the reason is. The ONLY thing I thought of is maybe the E91 came with a slicktop option in Europe and therefore the headliner was tighter to the framing, making for a shallower cargo hook receiver piece? I'm not sure.

Anyway, spending thousands for OEM parts is just insane. A little bit of work and you can find good used parts at a fraction of the cost.
I remember looking at realeom about a year ago and the dome light being available.
I’ve also read a thread where there was 2 types or cargo brackets and that one would stick out or not go in far enough.
It doesn’t seem like a lot of work. We’re you able to get the headliner out through the rear hatch? I’ve had to complete remove windshields to pull headliners out.

Thanks!
I followed the pictures and steps in this thread. It wasn't exactly the same. Step 9 I didn't do. Once you get the glass out and then remove the flat wide headed screws (you can see one of them in the pic below step 9, on the left side), then you just slide the shades out towards the back. Maybe the front shade slid out towards the front, I can't remember. If you have questions, feel free to ask!

Yeah, the headliner came out towards the hatch. The back portion was easy because it was narrow, but the front section is a little wider, and its delicate due to the big hole in it. But, it came out easily (tilted at a 45 degree angle).

Does not sound as good obviously - although with a MPE installed and resonator deleted, mine doesn't sound half bad. Thinking about doing the xdelete for RWD after the CPO is up...

Looks are obviously subjective - I like the LED lights and tech a lot more, but there is something to be said for the e91 short overhangs and a nice m-sport with a single hump dash and 3 pedals.
Love your car! The photos of it with the ARC-8s led me to buy a set myself. I'll post pics in the F31 thread once the suspension/wheel update is complete.

I'm in the same CPO boat. 1.5 more years until I can dump FWD and add HP!

I came to post this same car. It’s loaded: sport pack, cold weather, NAV, CA, xenons. Full maintenance records and an extra set of M3 wheels at a fair price? Ready, set, go! I don’t even care what the underside looks like

And the sublime 3.0 - 6, and the HVAC that keeps the entire cabin at the temp you set without readjusting, and the hood cut-line right above the grill, and the lighting on the rear hatch (when raised), and the umbrella holder, and the steering feedback, and the lower road noise, and the lack of vibration from a lumpy 2.0 - 4, and everything else that was lost during the de-content process between generations (Seriously, it's like Ford Motor executives got a shot at gutting the car).

After spending a couple of years with both an e91 and an f31, I'm always impressed by how successfully BMW killed the soul of e46 and e91 generation cars with the f31.

Granted, there are a few things about the f31 that are better. I have not changed water pumps, thermostats, window regulators, (any) sensors, CVs, or any gaskets on the f31. Yet... The lighting is better on the f31. It has a temp gauge. It is more efficient. But given a choice, I'd rather drive the e91 every day.

Your e91 looks great. But somehow, the e91 feels special in a way that the f31 never feels.

I came across it the other day as well, it's 20 minutes from me. Had it been rwd I would have picked it up. I have lived in NE and in other snowy parts of the world where they plow and never found the need for AWD if car was equipped with 4 snows.

Here's a cheap LCI: 2009, grey over black, xDrive, 150k mi, no nav, no sport pkg. Looks like it has some carbon interior trim. Rear bumper looks to need some work. $5k.

This wagon is local to me and I've seen it in person before and looked good when I did. I've spoken to the owner before and can connect anyone interested or check it out for them again if interested.

I just saw on my local Facebook a wagon for sale. Talked to the guy, said he's mainly looking for a trade. Said he'd be into any Bimmer that is a manual, but wants to get into a turbo car. (Dad just got a 440i).

Info below copied from his Facebook. I'll connect anyone interested.

2011, black on black, xDrive, manual, single hump, 160k miles.

Brand new control arms just installed and vanos was rebuilt along with all new engine seals and maintenance 6k miles ago.

**EDIT** Just found out it's a rebuilt title. 🤦*♂️ will get the VIN as soon as I can

Yeah, the gap in front of the front wheel is awkward.
