^ Haha, funny. Saw it in the theater when it first came out and I left a little teary-eyed.

Dude, it was a great movie full of different emotions, not just the mushy ones. Don't tell you vociferously dislike that one too?

Yeah, it was a very good movie imo. And you're right... not just mushy. Comedy, action, etc.

Red, stars Brian Cox.

It's OK but a bit of a cliche. In terms of chick flicks I think Pretty Woman was brilliant.

Watching "L.A. Confidential." Great movie from 1997. Guy Pierce, Russell Crowe, Kim Basinger, Danny DeVito, James Cromwell. Seen it a couple times. Lots of nice scenes from where I grew up: Elysian Park, Echo Park, and more. L.A. in the 1950s. I grew up there in the 60s and 70s. I Highly recommend this movie if you haven't seen it. If you have, you know it's worth another watch.

It was OK, the cast saved it as the story itself wasn't brilliant. Guy Pierce is severely under rated.

Watched the equalizer 3 last week. Good movie, definitely better than 2 but 1 is still my favorite.

I believe you are talking about, "No one will save you"......and if you are, it was a good watch with a very interesting twist. I watched it a couple of days ago.

Like all Saw movies there are some plot holes and questions, but overall its one of (if not the best) Saw movies with an interesting plot, some gruesome traps (one that caused one of our friends to leave early) as well as the excellent Tobin Bell being featured more than before.

Interesting. I feel like it's been a huge money grab since several parts back.
But I'm a sucker for horror. Thanks for the input.
If you have a chance Stein, watch No One Will Save You.

Like one interesting thing is other than one scene in the beginning before the title card, the movie actually takes its time to get to the blood and guts. The game doesn't actually start till about 30-45mins in, they were much more focused on giving Kramer a story here. I also didn't see the trailer so I was much more engrossed into the movie.

And the fact that its now 2020's versus the early 2000's when the last Saw movies I watched were made means the gore is insanely more detailed and gross than before. I have to say, the first kill of the game is definitely the nastiest and one of the most stomach churning scenes I've seen, that's where one of my friends and someone else in the audience left.

I'll have to add No One Will Save You to my list, the only thing with horror is I really have to be in the mood/mind set to watch it.
Good to know. As far as No One Will Save You, it's more SciFi suspense than actual horror. It's not gory. I'm actually not a big fan of gore. I prefer tense, jump scares and creature features then say watching someone getting chainsawed.
