Well, I am not so sure about that one. The 2.0T big turbo kits make close to of 400 hp on 100 octane fuel. While I have no doubts that the N55 will eventually get there and surpass that number, it won't be cheap.

The thing that I was comparing was a stock X3 vs a loaded Tiquan with a big turbo.

Here is your standard 2.0T Stage 3 big turbo kit from APR:

The kit costs $5K total.

So basically, you can get a Tiguan for around $30K with plenty of options and 4-motion, slap a $5K turbo kit on it and the car will run circles around the X3.

As for the dimensions comparison, I have to question the entire small size SUV idea altogether. There is not much more space than a A4 wagon...
