Thanks! Dealer pics. Apparently 1 of 7 in that combination and a MT. 2011 with 9,000 miles, 1 owner, no accidents, no moonroof special order stripper car. I'm excited. Relocated to the mainland 3 years ago and had to sell my last 335i. I'm back!

Oh. my. god. THEY DO EXIST. I didn't think there were any actual sunroof-less 335is cars!

I adore that car. I hit the headliner in my car regularly and dream of not having a sunroof.

AWESOME!

They are sort of rare. I believe that something like 55 were made without a sunroof. Thanks for the kind words!

they are 9.5 in front and 10.5 in rear and I run a 235/40 up front and a 265/35 in rear. No rubbing or issues whatsoever.

Does the 335is have Servotronic? I'm wondering if we can do a direct M3 steering rack install without having to mess with a Servotronic assembly.

Sad to say that a few weeks ago I sold my 335is to a local used car dealer. But I was getting such a hankering for pouring thousands into mods that, in the end, I decided to just do a whole series upgrade and picked up a 2015 M4

Having it shipped out from dealer out west, should get here on Thursday. See you guys on that forum!

1st mod. Shipped quickly, well packaged, and worth much more than what it costs. Very happy!

Looking to get out of my stock 2011 DCT 335IS soon and into something a bit newer, but every time i try and find something I'm a bit like meh. Nothing blowing me away like when I first bought this car. I really do like the way this car looks and drives but its 6 years old now and time for a change before it depreciates into a $20,000 car. I bought it for $32,000 with 26k miles in June 2014 and it now has 31,000 miles on it today, but looking at prices these things have really come down which is disappointing considering what you get performance wise in these vehicles. Figure it would retain value better than other cars, but hey its a car and they depreciate fast

So far looked at the:

2014-15 Porsche Boxster S (PDK)

2015 corvette with Z51 package (automatic)

2015 M4 (DCT)

All very different cars, but im going for style and performance like the IS. I want the feel of that twin turbo like the 335Is with fast off the line speed, but the Porsche and Vette are naturally aspirated. Hell even with the M4 I didnt really care for the exhaust note. The 335IS exhaust is heavenly

Again, just not much out there right now that screams OMG buy me.

Gave my 'is' to my wife and upgraded now to 997.2. Porsche is next level.

Thanks! Literally counting the hours until scheduled delivery on Thursday. Felt like a gut punch to sell the 335is, and don't think I'll feel A+ until the M4 gets here.

I floated my car for a few weeks before deciding to just sell it to a dealer for what was essentially trade-in value. Had a private sale fall through at the last minute and just got fed up. I can see they still have it listed on their site, I'm surprised it hasn't been picked up for their offer price. Especially considering the pedigree (I just had the cylinders walnut blasted about a year ago, but not many buyers even appreciate that). In the end, if I had been more patient I would've gotten a better private party price.

I've heard mixed reviews on the M4, and the exhaust note on the 335is was definitely unbeatable, but I'm still stoked on it. Also hearing the M4s note at cold start vs properly warmed up seems to sound pretty good to me. After all, they're both twin turbo's so if anything I'm expecting it to be similar.

Then all the net tech and cockpit vs. the 335is....I was even thinking the frozen limited edition E92 M3s but ultimately I didn't want to be sitting in exactly the same cockpit.

Now for giggles, the last pics of my car as I was swapping off my new Enkeis to put the Style 313s back on

Are you really happy with your new M4 or is it not THAT big of a mind blowing upgrade from the 335IS? Like I said I'm mainly looking for that 0-60 thrill of "holy sht" like the first time i threw the IS into sport+shifter in left position and gunned it

I'll plan to give an update in a week or so after I've had a chance to tool around in it for a bit. I haven't gunned it in an M4 yet, nor felt the highest sport settings.

I definitely remember that the first time I floored it in my 335is it felt like a slingshot compared to my old E46 and even an E92 M3 I'd driven. Several weeks ago I got to drive a seller's 2015 Porsche 911, only in and around city streets but even then it was incredibly snappy and nimble. He mentioned he got rid of his previous M4 because it was over-torqued, and couldn't put the power to the ground. But I go the impression he was a more spirited driver than I typically am...
