Can't believe people keep paying such a premium for cars from him.
SAME! I compete against him at all the eastern auto auctions and he will basically pay any price knowing it’s pretty much already accepted on BaT where it will pull a premium and he will still profit majorly. I bid against him on this current BaT wagon and stopped at a pretty stupidly high price because I knew BaT wouldn’t accept it if I submitted it.

My question is how so many low-mileage e91’s from the same part of the country end up at auction? Why aren’t the owners selling these cars themselves, or if they’re trade-ins why aren’t the dealers selling them off their lot?

Most dealers likely don't want to deal with an older car or don't really know the value in them.

Anything over about 5 years old or not among the dealers brands are generally sent to auction. Most dealers do not want to bother with having to do any level of service to a car they will make little or no profit on, if they can even sell it at all, so it goes to auction with no additional money being spent. Someone going to a Honda or Toyota dealer to look for a car are not likely to purchase a 10+ year old BMW.

This was exactly my situation. I looked for an E91 for a long time. Then one popped up for sale at a Toyota dealership across the country. There were no pictures but I ran the VIN: M-Sport, Xenons, Comfort Access, my color combo, etc. It even came with an OEM BMW roof rack and roof box. Everything I was looking for in a daily besides 6MT. But the price was stupid low! They had no idea what they had and I put a deposit down immediately without photos. An older gentlemen traded it in for a 4Runner

Sometimes you get lucky with dealerships not knowing.

I'm ready to do that once pricing becomes more realistic. Find a totaled 330i RWD 6MT that didn't take a front end hit, and swap in the front subframe, trans, driveshaft, diff, pedal box/clutch line, etc. A bit of coding and perhaps having a custom transmission mount made (i.e. on an E91 xDrive, when you do the conversion to RWD, there is a missing mounting point on the unibody I believe (see in the N57 section my friend's 335d E91 6MT build) and a few odds and ends, and the F31 RWD 6MT is ready.

2011 Msport possibly for sale July time frame

I've got a 2011 MSport with under 60k miles (57,000) that I've had since early 2018. She is a 328xi in Alpine White with Oyster/Black Dakota Leather interior with Automatic, and panoramic sunroof and is a factory MSport and includes original 18-inch Style 193 Wheels. Expecting to be for sale in the July or August time frame.

According to "Sickfinga" on IMAXBimmer Forum, this car is one of three such configured Alpine White w/ Oyster interiors imported to the US in 2011. I have modified the car with mostly only BMW Performance parts that were available over the counter from BMW when this car would have been new.

Performance modifications include a BMW Performance Exhaust, BMW Euro Intake, DISA intake manifold, Turner Tune, Eibach Xdrive specific springs, Bilstein B4 shocks (2/2021), M3 Front Shock tower brace, Turner mono ball control arm bushings, and BMW Performance Big Brake kit (front & rear).

Cosmetic upgrades include Carbon Fiber mirror caps, BMW Performance Alcantara Shift and Brake boot, Performance pedal set, Apex SC10 18x9 wheels on 255/35/18 Michelin PS4 on all four corners. Also, has an upgraded audio system which includes JL Audio 6Ch Amp, Hybrid Audio Technology and MB Quart Mids/Hi, JL Audio Mono Amp, JL Audio 10TW3 subwoofer, and JL Audio TwK-88 processor. All components are either hidden underfloor of the rear storage area or in OEM locations, nothing is visible or shows there is an aftermarket audio system. All have been wired using TechnicPNP replacement wiring harnesses, leaving original connectors intact.

Recent Service includes oil change, intake manifold gasket, new shock, and suspension bushing, belt service and plugs and coils within last 8500 miles, replaced shocks, etc.

The car has been adult-owned by active BMW CCA member and area Governor and has never been tracked except for one autocross event at BMW O-Fest 2019 after initial modifications were completed. The car has been used for a combination of local, commuting, and long-range highway trips. Car was recently driven over 800 miles with four adults (April 2021) from Florida to North Carolina and back with no issues.

I will most likely be placing it up for sale in July or August time frame and will provide a variety of parts and maintenance parts in the sale, such as transmission fluid, filter, etc, selection of control arm bushings, OEM Style 193 wheels with tires, and more. The car has been garaged the entire time I have had it and has been driven less than 4000 miles each year (average), front and rear bumper could use a respray but the body is straight and has no underbody rust is present. This is a very rare example based on color, options, etc and the only thing missing to make it truly a "unicorn" is the 6-speed manual. I will price it accordingly but will entertain reasonable offers. There is still a bank lean on the car so all transactions will be handled through a local dealer to provide assurance to all parties. Feel free to PM me if you might be interested and we can start discussions, serious inquiries only. I will not finance, or accept anything but legit cash deals and again, looking to sell in the July time frame.

Two msport wagons

Got myself a 35k mile rwd msprot wagon then found another one with more miles and decided to keep the one with the higher miles (one with the 513m wheels)
I want to do an m57 swap.
Looking to sell the 35k mile wagon dont really know what i could get for it.
I bought it from copart it was very light damage, just needed fender bumper and headlight body wise and then tie rod end and wheel bearing.
WBAUT9C5XBA191988 vin for it and copart lot number is 57234710 if you want to see pictures of the before.
Debating to put it on Bring a trailer or just ebay it.
Car literally feels brand new and drives like its new.
Never been driven in the winter and found first owner was an older gentleman.
Tan interior with black headliner obviously
