She is a 328xi in Alpine White with Oyster/Black Dakota Leather interior with Automatic, and panoramic sunroof and is a factory MSport and includes original 18-inch Style 193 Wheels. Expecting to be for sale in the July or August time frame.

According to "Sickfinga" on IMAXBimmer Forum, this car is one of three such configured Alpine White w/ Oyster interiors imported to the US in 2011. I have modified the car with mostly only BMW Performance parts that were available over the counter from BMW when this car would have been new.

Performance modifications include a BMW Performance Exhaust, BMW Euro Intake, DISA intake manifold, Turner Tune, Eibach Xdrive specific springs, Bilstein B4 shocks (2/2021), M3 Front Shock tower brace, Turner mono ball control arm bushings, and BMW Performance Big Brake kit (front & rear).

Cosmetic upgrades include Carbon Fiber mirror caps, BMW Performance Alcantara Shift and Brake boot, Performance pedal set, Apex SC10 18x9 wheels on 255/35/18 Michelin PS4 on all four corners. Also, has an upgraded audio system which includes JL Audio 6Ch Amp, Hybrid Audio Technology and MB Quart Mids/Hi, JL Audio Mono Amp, JL Audio 10TW3 subwoofer, and JL Audio TwK-88 processor. All components are either hidden underfloor of the rear storage area or in OEM locations, nothing is visible or shows there is an aftermarket audio system. All have been wired using TechnicPNP replacement wiring harnesses, leaving original connectors intact.

Recent Service includes oil change, intake manifold gasket, new shock, and suspension bushing, belt service and plugs and coils within last 8500 miles, replaced shocks, etc.

The car has been adult-owned by active BMW CCA member and area Governor and has never been tracked except for one autocross event at BMW O-Fest 2019 after initial modifications were completed. The car has been used for a combination of local, commuting, and long-range highway trips. Car was recently driven over 800 miles with four adults (April 2021) from Florida to North Carolina and back with no issues.

I will most likely be placing it up for sale in July or August time frame and will provide a variety of parts and maintenance parts in the sale, such as transmission fluid, filter, etc, selection of control arm bushings, OEM Style 193 wheels with tires, and more. The car has been garaged the entire time I have had it and has been driven less than 4000 miles each year (average), front and rear bumper could use a respray but the body is straight and has no underbody rust is present. This is a very rare example based on color, options, etc and the only thing missing to make it truly a "unicorn" is the 6-speed manual. I will price it accordingly but will entertain reasonable offers. There is still a bank lean on the car so all transactions will be handled through a local dealer to provide assurance to all parties. Feel free to PM me if you might be interested and we can start discussions, serious inquiries only. I will not finance, or accept anything but legit cash deals and again, looking to sell in the July time frame.
What a beaut!

xi? Did you debadge the xDrive markers on the side?

Beautiful car. What are the xi Eibach specific springs? I only see springs for the i. think the i springs work on the xi but didn't think Eibach made specific xi springs.

I was going to ask the same thing. Which springs and you have these paired with B4 shocks/struts? How does it drive? Usually B4 with lowering springs is a no-no? : @quart

Jeezus! It must be nice to have the E91 market cornered on BAT. Immediately after one listings ends, another pops up...

Guy is making a killing off of these cars, doesn't do shit to them just flips them. No end to it as long as BaT keeps giving him preference over private sellers

This one was for sale in MD last July and I almost bought it. I had a deposit on it and decided not to buy it. I'm on mobile but maybe I will go back to find the posts in this thread..

Fastalpine looked at this car as well on the same day.

From what I remember...
  • smokers car. It was faint by the time i got to test drive it
  • Horrible paint work. The entire driver side had been painted and was the worst paint job I had ever seen. rattle can bad
  • valve cover gasket and supposedly oil pan gasket were done by the bmw dealer prior to sale. The oil pan was after I got a PPI showing it was leaking.
  • There was no sound on the radio. The TCU probably just needed to be looped out on the MOST bus to fix this.
  • Pinhole in the right front cv boot

Other than that... Drove good, looked nice apart from paint issue. I had them at 12250 out the door and they didn't want to budge. Just had too many questions left in my mind about it.... And that paint.

I have a PPI I can share if anyone wants to pm me for it. Don't want to blast the link out.

I remember this car very well....looks like it needed a new clutch (at 108k?!) as well.....wonder what they did about the paint? I think you dodged a bullet.

This is why these forums are so valuable, as is the information that has been shared here about this particular car on BAT.

Thank you "Sendmewagons" !

Yeah my test drive was short so I didn't really push on the clutch hard. It felt ok though..

I think it must've been redone. I thought about trying to rotary polish to smooth it but it didn't look good enough for that.

Not surprising. I do like to ride the 1600veloce hate train but..... if it really had all that work done and a quality rework of the drivers side then itd be a nice car. Depends on how much bondo there was under there, if any. I'm sure it will still sell for too much.

I wonder if he was the one who bought it from the MD dealer originally. The carfax has a ping in Arizona but it just says dealer took possession. I know 1600veloce is in NY... Anyways would be nice to know if he had the body work done and what the details are.

Not that I'm in the market in any way whatsoever to get one of these on BaT.. haha

I am 85% sure this is not the same car. When I saw it on BaT I was sure it was until I checked the Carfax. From what I remember when I looked at the Carfax when it was for sale in MD, it had notes about the oil pan gasket being done by the seller dealer. The Carfax on this one doesn't show anything about that. Did you save the VIN from when it was for sale in MD by chance?

Also, I had found the guy who bought it from the MD dealer and he was having issues with the radio/iDrive not working and was very frustrated with it and trying to convince the selling dealer to fix it for him.

***EDIT: it is the same car. I just double checked some things and realize it is. WOW.

Still can't believe people pay such a premium for all of 1600's auction flips. The current car on the auction block sounds like a complete mess.
