sometimes i wonder what people are thinking when they put a kit like that on... especially unpainted...

i dont know how many unpainted kits i see on cars in san jose where the kit isnt even on the car correctly.. its like hanging or wobbling and it doesnt fit and yet they still put it on with 3 different sets of rims

Shit, I was just there yesterday to install my trunk. I wasnted to go the the meet but i had to move in on Sunday. I highly recommend SonicMS for paint work and CF trunk installs. Darwin took his time, almost 6 hours, to sand down everything and get the alignment right. He probably aligned it 20 or so times.

That's a lot of money to drop bro. I know how you feel now. That's how I felt after i put in my order.

Thanks bro. Nice meet pics today too.

They already curbed =P

Ay guys, please give me the pros & cons of having iforged rims vs. 189's.

I'm half & half on keeping them or reselling...
Haha, i'm not always at the shop. My mods have just all been arriving that's all. Yeah the 189s are a little rough haha, but I only curbed one rim lightly and then dorpped the face on my jack stand...haha. it's hard installing springs by urself.

Iforged pro: Not OEM, attention, aggressive, custom
con: expensive, not practical, unwanted attention
OEM pro: clean, not too much attention, still looks pretty good w/ spacers
con: looks stock.

Also, you can always sell them later on and buy a different set when your tastes change.
+1 you should be able to sell them, I just don't know if you can sell them for the same buying price right now because iforged has some overstock drifts.

haha yeah i have them. i guess like anything, it depends on the style and finish of the wheel. if you go with black and polished lip dpe, iforged, hre will all look the same. that's why i had to do something different.

If I were to get new rims I would go with something that's a little more exclusive (i.e. not a dime a dozen).
Yeah, JDM wheels are nice. It depends a lot on the finish. Details make the rims when it comes ti forged wheels.

Keeping the 189's! Alex, I'll talk to you in a little bit.
Sure man, just let me know.
