It kinda sounds like a coffee maker bubbling or a hookah without a diffuser.

SERIOUSLY!!!
For those that upgraded their stock exhaust and make under 500-600whp you just pissed money away for sound and gained no power, please punch yourself in the face.
I think it sounds good. Plus one of the main points j dub made in his og post was that we wanted this mod to give our n54 the same or similar sounds the bmw ppk flash does to the n55 which I think they actually did a really good job implementing this into mhd for us. I can't wait till my galaxy phone I ordered just for mhd comes in to flash my car

Will this have any effect long term??? Maybe clogging out secondary cats since im catless dp already. Maybe fouling o2 sensors sooner? Or effecting other parts?

No negative effects. N55 PPK runs it just fine on all OEM parts straight from BMW. Same w/ M3/M4 GTS.

But I do see your point.
nvm i googled your exhaust and i have the same one as yours. So you complete deleted the mufflers and have aftermarket dps?

very interested to hear how yours sounds.

i'm on max on both settings catless with x pipe and it pops and cracks but sounds muffled. i'd be awesome if you can post a vid.

@jyamona

Will the tables involved in these changes be released in the XDF?

If not then could you tell me the duration that is set by default in the Z4 35i and 35is models. Really interested to know why my car has always had these crackles.

Strange that u have the same exhaust as me. Mine never came with an X-pipe from AE (autobahn exotics) It only came with a muffler per pipe and that was it. (but I cut that bish off)

It sounds just like the video of the black 335i that was posted but louder by 3 fold. Not ricey. Just more volume. Hard to explain. I'll have video up tonight.

@jyamona I noticed us AT guys, when revving in park or neutral while sitting still, do not get gurggles like the MT guys do.
By product of being an AT?

I'm on 5 sec medium aggressiveness.

Thanks Jake!

I did mention it earlier in the thread and was called out as a liar. Satisfying knowing that it was already an existing feature on some models.

If we set the flash time option in MHD will it override both the sport and normal durations?
