Screeeeech..... Its just me stopping by to tell you I LOVE THIS CAR! The 12th looks good for me, that is, if you don't mind the hubby along (he did buy this for me and bonus, he will know I am not the only one that is obsessed with this).

As far as packages sent to me rich, I didn't get any thing in the mail. The SA gave me a penlight and 5 roses. I GOT (after asking) all weather mats, a visor and a travel mug. We didn't squabble over price and I figured he could afford to get those few things for me. All in all a good experience.

Had to order a new cell phone, my will connect but won't load phone book, so hands free is truly only calls coming in, I would still have to manually dial on the cell. Oversight on BMWs part: You should be able to manually program in cell phone numbers into the car, that way, if you have a phone that partially works, you would still be able to use hands free (Convoluted I know, but you will see).

Let me know about the 12th. Gotta go gas up and get out on the road. Too pretty of a day not to use the convertible!

Hey guys,

Well, finally picked my car up this morning and all I can say is WOW that thing is fast! It feels like I'm going 60 while actually going 90. Now, I'll just wait for this weekend before I do a nice spirited drive up highway 1.

Overall, it was a smooth and painless pickup (about 1 and 1/2 hours total). Also, since I applied for my lease under April rates (long story, had to reorder my car), I ended up having a $15 per month cheaper lease payment. Reason being, they calculated the MSRP after the price increase while keeping the same residual I had before.

I'd post pics but am not sure how. Also, a possibility on me making it to Napa on the 12th.

Has anyone who's taken delivery still have the owners circle website still showing as "En route"? Mine is still stuck there and I'm wondering if it'll ever change by the time I get my car.

COWBS - mine says At Prep Center and I have already had it for a day, so the owners circle can or be lagging in up to the minute info. You can always call the 800 number (talk with a live rep) or your SA should have even more recent info.

Oh okay - I haven't received it yet - but I did receive the 335i. Wow! Now if I can just resist getting too carried away until 1200 or so. It will be hard plodding along with my company Impala until tomorrow night. Everyone picking up soon won't be disappointed.

i just got back from driving mine around la for two hours. picked it up in glendale, cruised hollywood blvd, sunset strip and santa monica blvd. she looks great. smells great. sounds great. drives great and just made me smile ear to ear. congrats to everyone...if you haven't got it yet, it is so worth the wait.

i won't be able to make the trip, but i will be there in spirit. you all have been an awesome lot to share this experience. let's keep the thread going with photos.

i think i'll do one more neighborhood lap before i go to sleep.
