No, not yet since you haven't done the interior of your car.

Wow, it's good you found it and solved your CA issue. You should do some spring cleaning because you knows what else you'll find.

I think I might have the cleanest E9x in America!!! haha Ttoday I washed the car and did the usual exhaust tip/muffler polishing and wheel cleaning, vacuum, etc, but then I took it one [too many] steps further.

-Buffed the car with electric buffer/polish compound
-Waxed on, buffed, Wax Off
-Sprayed Wax on the Rims and buffed out
-Jacked up the car 2 feet and polished the entire exhaust system.
-Removed the sideskirts and cleaned behind them
-Removed the front doors and cleaned in the tight spots up front.
-Removed the window trim off and cleaned behind it.

I am home on spring break...so now I'm kinda bummed I don't have anything else to do for the rest of the week

Have I crossed the line into insanity?
Sure you do!! My E90 could use a good cleaning!

Only this one would be bordering on insanity IMO

Hey Nick, nice collection of keys You need to pick up a couple of these to add to it

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=363109

But seriously, sounds logical that this could have been the source of your issues, hopefully the dealer can sort it out now.

I haven't found the ball yet but whatever. I'll need more light to do that. I can't believe I had the second key in the car since day one. lol - the battery is dead but I can't help but think that this has been my CA issue the whole time...

Which one did you get? If it's just the bulb replacement it's extremely easy to do.

In talking Brian mentioned he had a set he longer needed so Im not sure what brand they are. I think the e90 is different then the e92 we need to take the front wheels off to access the lamp housing. I could be wrong on that but im sure its still not difficult.

I am game if we want to do a couple e90s. I would assume it will only take a short time anyway. Dogs don't bother me, I have two Shiba Inus.

So I have Garmin navigation and XM radio in my car now and I am sick of the wires. I need to hard wire the both of them, but am not really sure where I should tap for power. I am used to easier cars like Toyota's!! Can I wire my XM off the cigarette by the radio or is that frowned upon? I would rather just do it right the first time. I have the hard-wire kit already.

You should be able to use the cigarette outlet, as I used it for my boost gauge.
